Good morning my friend :)

Here is the daily technology #threadcast for 10/4/24. We aim to educate people about this crucial area along with providing information of what is taking place.

Drop all question, comments, and articles relating to #technology and the future. The goal is make it a technology center.

I guess there's a lot more to learn to organize data (package) in a way that would both help LeoAi and the reader. Thanks task.

There are a lot of ways to do things. One of the easiest is to engage (provide feedback) with synthetic data. So when you stuff that is posted from something like Grok or Venice, then comments on what the topic it. That helps the training.

Simply think of the concept of a knowledge graph. Think of how your mind would link something together or you would learn a particular topic.

If you were learning about Apple for the first time, you might come across the iPhone. What is that? So you look it up? Then you know what an iPhone is?

Whats the first thing to learn? How to use Leo glossary?

Whats the first thing to learn?

With regards to what?

How you explained the news threads I posted in sub threads in a well structured and organized way.

That actually was a chatbot prompt. I simply asked it what is _______ and then got the answer. Ran it through leolinker and then broke it up under your thread to further explain the topic.

Okay then I'm gonna spend the next 2 hours learning this since I'm in the house today.

whats the link to leolinker

I had no idea the Leo linker was that easy to use. What more don't I know. Damnnnnn!

Teach me more task.

What prompt should I use in the chat bot to explain the news article.

Rivian shares fall after EV maker slashes production forecast, misses Q3 delivery expectations

Rivian produced 13,157 vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois and delivered 10,018 vehicles during the same period.

Shares of Rivian Automotive dropped about 8% during premarket trading Friday after the electric vehicle startup delivered fewer vehicles in the third quarter than analysts had expected and lowered its annual production forecast for 2024.

#newsonleo #rivian #ev #automotive

The company said the lower production target — down from 57,000 units to between 47,000 and 49,000 — was because of a "production disruption due to a shortage of a shared component" for its R1 vehicles and commercial van.

"This supply shortage impact began in Q3 of this year, has become more acute in recent weeks and continues. As a result of the supply shortage, Rivian is revising its annual production guidance to be between 47,000 and 49,000 vehicles," the company said in a statement.

A Rivian spokesman said the component causing the problem is part of its in-house motors, but he declined to disclose any further details.

Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe during a Morgan Stanley investor conference last month alluded to problems with a number of suppliers: "We've had a couple of supplier issues of recent that have been challenging and in particular, a few issues around our in-house motors with some of the components that have been painful and a reminder of just how a multi-tiered supply chain can be difficult."

Even the 'godmother of AI' has no idea what AGI is

Are you confused about artificial general intelligence, or AGI?

#agi #feifeilin #ai #technology

The concept of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is a complex and multifaceted topic that has been debated by researchers, scientists, and philosophers for decades. I'll try to break it down into more detail.

What is AGI?

AGI refers to a hypothetical AI system that possesses the ability to understand, learn, and apply knowledge across a wide range of tasks, similar to human intelligence. In other words, an AGI system would be capable of reasoning, problem-solving, and learning in a way that is indistinguishable from human intelligence.

Challenges in defining AGI

Despite the significant progress made in AI research, defining AGI is still a challenging task. There are several reasons for this:

  1. Lack of a clear definition: As Fei-Fei Li mentioned, there is no widely accepted definition of AGI. Different researchers and organizations have proposed various definitions, which can lead to confusion and disagreement.
  2. Complexity of human intelligence: Human intelligence is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that is not yet fully understood. Replicating human intelligence in an AI system is a daunting task, especially considering the intricate relationships between cognitive, emotional, and social aspects of human intelligence.
  3. Difficulty in measuring intelligence: Intelligence is a difficult concept to measure, especially in the context of AI systems. Current methods for evaluating AI intelligence, such as benchmarking and testing, are often incomplete or biased.

Current approaches to AGI

Several approaches have been proposed to develop AGI systems, including:

  1. Symbolic AI: This approach focuses on developing AI systems that can reason and solve problems using symbolic representations, such as logic and mathematics.
  2. Connectionist AI: This approach uses connectionist models, such as neural networks, to learn and represent knowledge.
  3. Hybrid approaches: Many researchers believe that the best approach to AGI is to combine elements of both symbolic and connectionist AI.

OpenAI's approach to AGI

OpenAi, a leading AI research organization, has proposed a five-level framework for measuring progress towards AGI. The levels are:

  1. Level 1: Chatbots: Simple AI systems that can engage in basic conversations.
  2. Level 2: Reasoners: AI systems that can reason and solve problems using logic and mathematics.
  3. Level 3: Agents: AI systems that can act in complex environments and make decisions.
  1. Level 4: Innovators: AI systems that can generate new ideas and solutions.
  2. Level 5: Organizational AI: AI systems that can manage and optimize entire organizations.

Li's Comments and concerns

Fei-Fei Li's comments highlight the challenges and uncertainties surrounding AGI. She expressed concerns about the potential risks and challenges associated with creating superintelligent AI, including:

  1. Value alignment: Li worries that AGI systems may not share human values and ethics, leading to unintended consequences.
  2. Job displacement: AGI could potentially displace human workers, exacerbating existing social and economic challenges.
  3. Safety and control: Li emphasizes the need for robust safety and control mechanisms to prevent AGI systems from causing harm.

Li's Role in AI regulation

As a task force member, Li is advocating for an evidence-based approach to AI regulation, prioritizing academic research and funding. She also wants to ensure that the regulatory framework is not overly punitive, but rather encourages innovation and responsible AI development.

Implications of AGI

The development of AGI has far-reaching implications for society, including:

  1. Economic disruption: AGI could potentially disrupt entire industries and economies, leading to significant changes in the workforce and social structures.
  2. Social and cultural changes: AGI could lead to changes in human relationships, social dynamics, and cultural norms.
  1. Ethical and governance challenges: AGI raises complex ethical and governance challenges, including questions about accountability, transparency, and decision-making.

In conclusion, the concept of AGI is complex and multifaceted, with many challenges and uncertainties surrounding its development. While some researchers believe that AGI is a desirable goal, others express concerns about the potential risks and challenges. As AGI research advances, it is essential to prioritize responsible AI development, ensure value alignment, and address the social and cultural implications of AGI.

What is RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)?

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is a cutting-edge language model that has gained significant attention in the field of natural language processing. Unlike traditional language models, which generate text from scratch relying solely on their internal knowledge and patterns learned from the training data, RAG models combine the strengths of both retrieval-based and generation-based approaches. This innovative approach involves retrieving relevant passages or snippets from a large corpus and then using them as input to generate new text.

The RAG approach offers several benefits, including:

  1. Improved accuracy: By leveraging existing knowledge from the corpus, RAG models can generate more accurate and informative text, particularly for tasks that require domain-specific knowledge or precise information. This is because the model can draw upon a vast repository of knowledge, rather than relying solely on its internal patterns.
  2. Increased diversity: RAG models can generate a wider range of responses by combining different passages and adapting them to the context. This is achieved by retrieving multiple relevant passages and then generating new text that incorporates the key points from each passage.
  1. Efficient training: RAG models can be trained more efficiently, as they don't require generating text from scratch, which can be computationally expensive. This is because the model only needs to generate new text based on the retrieved passages, rather than starting from a blank slate.

RAG models typically consist of two main components:

  1. Retrieval component: This component is responsible for retrieving relevant passages or snippets from a large corpus based on the input prompt or query. This component uses advanced algorithms and techniques to identify the most relevant passages that match the input query.
  2. Generation component: This component takes the retrieved passages as input and generates new text based on the context and the retrieved information. This component uses natural language processing techniques, such as language modeling and text generation, to create coherent and meaningful text.

RAG models have been successfully applied to various natural language processing tasks, including:

  1. Text summarization: RAG models can generate more accurate and informative summaries by combining relevant passages from the original text. This is particularly useful for tasks that require summarizing long documents or articles.
  2. Question answering: RAG models can retrieve relevant passages and generate answers based on the context. This is useful for tasks that require answering specific questions or providing detailed information.
  3. Language translation: RAG models can retrieve relevant passages in the target language and generate translations based on the context. This is useful for tasks that require translating text from one language to another.

Overall, RAG models have the potential to revolutionize the field of natural language processing by combining the strengths of both retrieval-based and generation-based approaches. By leveraging the vast repository of knowledge contained in large corpora, RAG models can generate more accurate, informative, and diverse text, making them a valuable tool for a wide range of applications.

159 employees are leaving Automattic as CEO's fight with WP Engine escalates

The employees accepted a severance package offered to those who disagreed with Matt Mullenweg's direction of WordPress and his fight with WP Engine.

The dispute between Automattic and WP Engine is a complex one, involving accusations of trademark abuse, conflicts of interest, and power struggles. Here's a detailed breakdown of the situation:

Background

Automattic is the company behind WordPress, a popular open-source content management system (CMS). WordPress has become a household name, with millions of websites built on the platform. WP Engine, on the other hand, is a web hosting provider that offers managed hosting services specifically designed for WordPress websites.

The dispute

The dispute between Automattic and WP Engine started when WP Engine began to use the WordPress trademark in its branding and marketing efforts. Automattic, which owns the WordPress trademark, saw this as a violation of their intellectual property rights. WP Engine argued that it was using the trademark in a way that was consistent with the open-source spirit of WordPress, but Automattic disagreed.

Accusations of trademark abuse

Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg accused WP Engine of "abuse of power" and "trademark abuse" in a series of tweets and statements. He claimed that WP Engine was using the WordPress trademark to confuse consumers and undermine the value of the trademark. WP Engine responded by denying any wrongdoing and claiming that it was simply using the trademark in a way that was consistent with its branding and marketing efforts.

Cease-and-desist letters

The dispute escalated when both parties sent cease-and-desist letters to each other. WP Engine sent a letter to Automattic demanding that the company stop using the WordPress trademark, while Automattic sent a letter to WP Engine demanding that the web hosting provider stop using the WordPress trademark.

Lawsuit filed by WP Engine

On Thursday, WP Engine filed a lawsuit against Automattic and Mullenweg, accusing them of "abuse of power," extortion, and conflicts of interest in handling the WordPress project. The lawsuit claims that Automattic is using its position as the owner of the WordPress trademark to exert control over the open-source community and prevent other companies from using the trademark.

Automattic's response

Automattic responded to the lawsuit by dismissing WP Engine's claims as "meritless." The company's legal representative, Neal Katyal, stated that he had read WP Engine's complaint and found no merit to its claims.

Severance package

The latest development in the dispute is the announcement by Automattic that 159 employees, representing approximately 8.4% of the company's staff, have accepted a severance package offered by the company. The severance package provides employees with either $30,000 or six months of salary, whichever is higher, but the employees who take the package will not be eligible to be re-hired by Automattic.

Implications

The dispute between Automattic and WP Engine has significant implications for the future of the WordPress project. If Automattic is successful in defending its trademark claims, it could set a precedent for the use of trademarks in the open-source community. On the other hand, if WP Engine is successful in its lawsuit, it could lead to a shift in the balance of power in the WordPress ecosystem.

The severance package announced by Automattic has also raised questions about the treatment of employees at the company. Some employees have taken to social media to express their support for the company and Mullenweg, while others have hinted at a culture of fear and intimidation within the company.

Overall, the dispute between Automattic and WP Engine is a complex and contentious one, with significant implications for the future of the WordPress project.

Many companies won't say if they'll comply with California's AI training transparency law

California passed a law that'll require AI companies to say which data sets they used to train their models. But few are saying whether they'll comply.

On Sunday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill, AB-2013, requiring companies developing generative AI systems to publish a high-level summary of the data that they used to train their systems. Among other points, the summaries must cover who owns the data and how it was procured or licensed, as well as whether it includes any copyrighted or personal info.

Meta faces data retention limits on its EU ad business after top court ruling

The European Union's top court has sided with a privacy challenge to Meta's data retention policies.

The European Union’s top court has sided with a privacy challenge to Meta’s data retention policies. It ruled on Friday that social networks, such as Facebook, cannot keep using people’s information for ad targeting indefinitely.

#eu #meta #socialmedia #newsonleo

The CJEU ruling on data retention and ad targeting has significant implications for Meta and other social media giants in the EU. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the ruling and its potential impact:

The Ruling

The CJEU ruled that social media platforms like Meta must limit the retention of personal data for ad targeting, and that companies cannot use aLL of the personal data obtained for the purposes of targeted advertising without restriction. The court's decision is based on the EU's General Data Protection regulation (GDPR), which requires companies to limit the retention of personal data and to obtain consent from users before using their data for advertising purposes.

Implications for Meta

The CJEU ruling has significant implications for Meta's ad-funded business model, which relies on tracking and profiling users of its social networks to sell micro-targeted advertising services. The court's decision means that Meta must limit the retention of personal data for ad targeting, and that companies like Meta cannot use all of the personal data obtained for the purposes of targeted advertising without restriction.

Meta's ability to continue operating its ad-funded business model in the EU is nOW in doubt. The company's reliance on user data for advertising purposes is a key component of its business model, and the CJEU ruling could limit its ability to continue using this data.

Data Minimization

The CJEU ruling also emphasizes the importance of data minimization, which requires companies to collect and retain only the minimum amount of personal data necessary to achieve a specific purpose. The court's decision means that companies like Meta must adopt more stringent data retention practices and to obtain consent from users before using their data for advertising purposes.

Sensitive Data

The CJEU ruling also addresses the issue of sensitive data, ruling that it cannot be used for ad targeting because it has been "manifestly made public" by the data subject. This means that companies like Meta must ensure that sensitive characteristics, such as sexual orientation, health data, and religious views, are not used for ad targeting.

Implications Beyond Social Media

The CJEU ruling has implications beyond social media, as tech giants are increasingly using personal data as AI training fodder. The court's decision makes it clear that grabbing people's data for a new purpose (AI training) could be a breach of the GDPR's purpose limitation principle.

This could have significant implications for the tech industry, as companies like Meta and Google are increasingly using personal data to train large language models and other generative AI models. The CJEU ruling could limit the ability of these companies to use personal data for AI training purposes, which could have significant implications for the development of these technologies.

Potential Consequences

The CJEU ruling could have significant consequences for Meta and other social media giants in the EU. Some potential consequences include:

  • Reduced ability to target ads: The CJEU ruling could limit Meta's ability to target ads to specific users, which could reduce the effectiveness of its advertising services.
  • Increased regulatory scrutiny: The CJEU ruling could lead to increased regulatory scrutiny of Meta and other social media giants, which could result in increased costs and compliance burdens for the companies.
  • Changes to data retention practices: The CJEU ruling could lead to changes in data retention practices for companies like Meta, which could result in increased costs and compliance burdens for the companies.
  • Implications for AI training: The CJEU ruling could have implications for the use of personal data for AI training purposes, which could limit the ability of companies like Meta and Google to use personal data for these purposes.

Overall, the CJEU ruling on data retention and ad targeting has significant implications for Meta and other social media giants in the EU. The ruling requires companies to limit the retention of personal data for ad targeting and to obtain consent from users before using their data for advertising purposes. The implications of the ruling could be significant, and companies like Meta will need to carefully consider how to comply with the ruling in order to minimize the impact on their business operations.

What is DeFi?

Let's dive deeper into DeFi, Aave, and Uniswap.

What is DeFi?

DeFi is a term that refers to the intersection of blockchain technology and traditional finance. It encompasses a wide range of financial services and applications that operate on blockchain networks, allowing users to participate in financial transactions without the need for intermediaries like banks.

DeFi aims to provide a more open, transparent, and secure way to manage financial transactions, often using smart contracts to enforce rules and ensure the integrity of the system. Some of the key features of DeFi include:

  1. Decentralization: DeFi applications operate on decentralized networks, which means that no single entity controls the system. This allows for greater security, transparency, and fault tolerance.
  2. Blockchain-based: DeFi applications are built on blockchain technology, which provides a secure and distributed ledger for recording transactions.
  1. Smart contracts: DeFi applications often use smart contracts, which are self-executing contracts with the terms of the agreement written directly into code.
  2. Token-based: Many DeFi applications use tokens as the primary medium of exchange, which can be traded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

What are the main components of DeFi?

DeFi is composed of several key components, including:

  1. Lending platforms: These platforms allow users to lend and borrow cryptocurrencies, often with interest rates and collateral requirements.
  2. Decentralized exchanges (DEXs): DEXs allow users to trade cryptocurrencies in a decentralized manner, without the need for intermediaries.
  3. Stablecoins: stablecoins are cryptocurrencies that are pegged to the value of a traditional currency, such as the US Dollar. They provide a stable store of value and can be used as collateral.
  1. Yield farming: yield farming involves providing liquidity to a protocol in exchange for a share of the profits, often in the form of interest payments.
  2. Oracles: oracles are used to provide real-world data to smart contracts, which can then be used to make decisions about the protocol.

Aave: A lending platform

Aave is a decentralized lending platform that allows users to lend and borrow cryptocurrencies. It is built on the Ethereum blockchain and uses a governance token called AAVE to incentivize users to participate in the platform.

Aave's key features include:

  1. Interest rates: Aave offers variable interest rates, which are determined by market forces.
  2. Collateral: Aave requires collateral to secure loans, which can be in the form of other cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies.
  3. Liquidations: Aave uses a liquidation mechanism to automatically close positions when borrowers fail to repay their loans.

Aave has gained significant traction in the DeFi space, with millions of dollars in assets locked up in the platform.

Uniswap: A decentralized exchange

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Ethereum blockchain. It allows users to trade cryptocurrencies in a decentralized manner, without the need for intermediaries.

Uniswap's key features include:

  1. Automated market makers: Uniswap uses automated market makers (AMMs) to provide liquidity to trades.
  2. Decentralized governance: Uniswap is governed by a decentralized token called UNI, which allows holders to participate in the decision-making process.
  3. Unbonded liquidity: Uniswap allows users to provide unbonded liquidity, which can be withdrawn at any time.

Uniswap has become one of the largest DEXs in the DeFi space, with millions of dollars in trading volume.

Risks and challenges

While DeFi has the potential to revolutionize the financial industry, it also carries significant risks and challenges, including:

  1. Volatility: cryptocurrency prices can be highly volatile, which can lead to significant losses.
  2. Smart contract bugs: Smart contracts can be vulnerable to bugs and exploits, which can lead to significant losses.
  1. Scams and hacks: DeFi applications are vulnerable to scams and hacks, which can lead to significant losses.
  2. Regulatory uncertainty: The regulatory landscape for DeFi is still uncertain, which can make it difficult for users to navigate.

Overall, DeFi has the potential to revolutionize the financial industry, but it requires careful consideration of the risks and challenges involved.

We have to be careful of handing the means of production to governments. This is something that many will do in response to the amassing of power by Big Tech.

Many worry about post labor economics. If it does arrive, there will be abundance.

What gets lost in the discussion is how most things will be free or near free.

What is AI teaching us about ourselves and our humanity? Are we being shows what consciousness is?

Training data of LLMs. (Epoch AI)

The advancements in LLM training data.

Language Model Size

The size of language models has increased significantly over the past few years. This is because the number of parameters in a language model is directly proportional to its complexity and ability to capture nuanced aspects of language.

For example, the BERT model has a vocabulary size of 110,000, which means it has 110,000 unique words in its training dataset. This is a relatively small vocabulary size compared to other language models, such as the RoBERTa model, which has a vocabulary size of 133,000.

Increasing the vocabulary size of a language model allows it to capture more subtle aspects of language, such as idioms, colloquialisms, and context-dependent expressions. This, in turn, enables the model to perform better on tasks such as language translation, text summarization, and question answering.

Training Time

Training times for LLMs have decreased significantly over the past few years. This is due to several factors, including:

  1. Improved computing resources: The availability of powerful computing resources, such as GPUs and TPUs, has enabled researchers to train larger and more complex language models.
  1. Optimized training algorithms: The development of optimized training algorithms, such as Adam and RMSProp, has improved the efficiency and speed of LLM training.
  2. Data augmentation: The use of data augmentation techniques, such as paraphrasing and noise injection, has enabled researchers to train larger language models with smaller datasets.

For example, the training time for the BERT model was around 1-2 weeks, while the training time for the RoBERTa model was around 1-2 days. This represents a significant reduction in training time, which has enabled researchers to train larger and more complex language models.

Performance

The performance of LLMs has improved significantly over the past few years. This is due to several factors, including:

  1. Increased vocabulary size: The increase in vocabulary size has enabled language models to capture more subtle aspects of language.
  2. Improved training algorithms: The development of optimized training algorithms has improved the efficiency and speed of LLM training.
  3. Data augmentation: The use of data augmentation techniques has enabled researchers to train larger language models with smaller datasets.

For example, the BERT model achieved state-of-the-art performance on the GLUE benchmark, while the RoBERTa model achieved state-of-the-art performance on the SuperGLUE benchmark. These results demonstrate the significant improvements in performance that have been achieved in the field of LLMs.

Key Metrics

Here are some key metrics that demonstrate the progress made in the field of LLMs:

  • Vocabulary size: The vocabulary size of language models has increased significantly over the past few years, from around 30,000 to over 100,000.
  • Training time: The training time for LLMs has decreased significantly, from around 1-2 months to around 1-2 days.
  • Performance: The performance of LLMs has improved significantly, with state-of-the-art performance achieved on several benchmarks, including GLUE and SuperGLUE.

Future Directions

The field of LLMs is rapidly evolving, with several future directions that are expected to shape the development of language models in the coming years. These include:

  • Multitask learning: The development of multitask learning algorithms that enable language models to learn multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Transfer learning: The development of transfer learning algorithms that enable language models to fine-tune pre-trained models for specific tasks.
  • Explainability: The development of explainability techniques that enable language models to provide insights into their decision-making processes.

These future directions are expected to shape the development of language models and enable them to perform even better on a wide range of NLP tasks.

How fast will each industry advance? #ai will help to speed a lot of things up but, keep in mind, the world of atoms is slow. This means there are physical constraints, usually meaning "boots on the ground" to excel forward.

That is going to be the bottleneck. It is also why the world of bits (digital) will continue to far outpace the physical.

Here is the #threadcast for today's episode of The Lion's Den. It goes live at 1 pm eastern time.

Drop all your questions and comments in here.

Have everyone found an Idea about what private subscriptions could be used for?
I just found one use case for me and already got people interested in the content :D

If you set this up, you better be committed, you better be dedicated

Yeah, I;m weighing my options.

Its been a long time since last episode of cryptomaniacs, has there been any talk of a comeback?

USDC and USDC are essential because even on HIVE it takes a lot of time/effort to gain the 5 HBD you need for each person you're subscribed to.

Holy cow, what's with all of the type-o's in your thumbnail image? Time for a new keyboard?

Haha its AI generated by me. AI needs a little more traning before perfection :)

We have many statues around in my area depicting people working in manufacturing like before 1930. Do you think #ai will bring us similar statues of secretaries working in office filing files and stuff?

I dislike Lama AI. I'm going to use the next generation of it, though - DalAI Lama. However, I've heard it's not gonna be a new release, but a reincarnation.

Hmm... I guess if you had added the prompt or AI used on each thread or did a little editing, I doubt it would have been a problem.

Good to see you back. #freecompliments

I didn't know about that, anyhow who cares.

Thanks for the show. See you around and enjoy that something else :)

What happens in subscriptions stays in subscriptions! 🖖🏼😎🤙🏼

Yep, you pretty much summarized the entire crypto degen place.

Please don't spread the rumour. LOL.

You know how rumour flies, especially this particular one you created. LOL.

How about selling some nsfw magazines the vintage :) for subscriptions

Offer subscriptions only if you have the time and the commitment to be consistently on it!

you're and winanda are an item

Well, not as far as I know, so don't spread it, pls.

Exactly, not a serious thing, it sprang up from the ZERO cooking expertise.

So he made a joke.

The training/tutorials will work perfectly with the threadcast with the creator subscriptions.

When someone pays you, a lot of the time, they feel they OWN you. I notice that a lot on Youtube. Paying users are too demanding to the creators they're supporting.

Yeah, I was thinking about Discord being replaced by Threadcast here which is a great idea cos subscribers can earn while engaging -> bringing more value for their sub. No such thing on Discord. 👍

What are the latest on the next Hive Fork? Last I heard it was supposed to happen around this time of the year but that was a while ago

Leo dating app is great idea! 😀 The Open Network has one also.

Do you think those users who adopt LeoAI will have a massive edge over those who don't?

Is Khaleelkazi always to optimistic when he think stuff is going to be released?

Yeah, he's always too decently optimistic. It's kinda contagious, so I can't fault him for that.

I saw some of the updates that are being worked on in the Leoverse. Glad to be invested here.

Prompt: taskmaster4450le riding on a lion in a city environment

As a long-time contributor on Hive, how do you think decentralized platforms like Hive can shape the future of content creation and finance in a best case scenario?

Who is the next guest going to be on Lions Den?

I will be setting up the space in a bit. It will be posted in here.

I was able to create a Youtube transcriber, but on the free API I'm using, it can only do a few prompts per day.

can you DM details of this?

I actually like the concept of personal computers. Honestly, mine's quite impersonal.

Same, man. Same!

Perhaps they could talk about AI crypto tokens/projects on that panel?

What if there was an option to pay to unlock a single article? Side by side with monthly sub

I loaded aiimages to fill in the data, some disliked to the extent started downvoting me all the way up.

too much taskmaster everywhere but very likeable

I pay for medium rare steaks. Does it count?

Who do you see as powerusers on Inleo currently?

What steps do you think is necessary to take in order to have a "successful" creator subscription on Inleo?

How would you package Inleo if you were in charge of marketing and recruting users?

And where would you go to find ppl?

Does Inleo benefit more by users from "western" countries or does it not matter here?

What is the worst case scenario that could happen Inleo as a platform right now?

I think the worst case scenario is everyone leaving. Second worst case, is "no new users stay after being onboarded" for months on end.

Is podcasts going to be a even bigger medium in the future or what is the next thing?

What AI images generators have you tried and which can you recommend?

How do you think the next financial crisis will differ from past ones, and what role might cryptocurrencies play in it?

What are your thoughts on the future scalability of Hive? What challenges do you foresee as more users and applications join the ecosystem?

How do you envision Hive evolving in terms of governance and community-driven decision-making over the next 5 years?

What role do you see Inleo playing in the wider world of Web3, particularly as more mainstream adoption of decentralized technology occurs?

What strategies can Inleo implement to increase liquidity and incentivize more active participation in the LeoFinance community?

Some of my questions was created by chatgpt :)

Sorry for spamming the show. Feel free to ignore those irrelevant.

Getting ready!!!!

Will have to watch a video about the differences between Llama 3.1 and Llama 3.2... For some reason, 3.2 has a LOT LESS parameters than 3.1, and that's weird.

something‘s wrong with images in threads … even here in the threadcast they‘re displayed at the end of the thread no matter where you put em while creating a thread … 🙄

I noticed it, I assumed it was the new design.

this is not design, it takes away design freedom!

Haha, yeah I know. I meant, maybe that is how it has been programmed to display.

I hope it become flexible like before such that we can place the image wherever we desire it to be.

#freecompliments

yep, i hope so too 🖖🏼☀️🤙🏼

Btw, is there any weekly crypto threadcasts nowadays?

LLAMA squared 👉🏽🤪👈🏽

*Feels guilty for not adding to the Conversations with AI threadcast for 3-4 days now...

I was thinking...
Question: How will videos work with subscriptions? Is the 3speak team also working to make videos encrypted?

I need AI to write down my thoughts with some kinda brain implant. Would use it with my long-form posts.

Many people I follow have Patreon accounts, but I' not subscribed to anyone, though.

Why should anyone pay for your information

...That's fair. !LOLZ

An expert in Birdwatching...

If only it was that easy.

What's your reputation on HIVE?

73...? I guess?

If you have a level of expertise in any area

That's the thing, I have a mediocre expertise in many areas.~

Real Madrid is overrated - go check Surreal Madrid instead.

I can hallucinate better than AI. It's costy, yet achieavable.

I reckon that would be my expertise.

Paid webinar.

5 HBD is not much. I would happily pay that if I could find someone to subscribe

That's cool... Will you consider subscribing to me, (only if you liked my content. I haven't decided on the sub-only content yet.)

I'd definitely consider it! But depends a lot on the content of course. 🙂

That's cool.

Thanks for the suggestion, pasted the single unlock idea on Latest.

Would probably create more headache for devs but would increase the revenue of authors a lot, I think.

In all my time on the internet, I never paid for anything once.

I'm surprised at how much people on the internet are willing to throw at personalities they love. Some people spend more on Twitch Super Chats a day than I earn in 3 months!

So, yeah... Find an audience that pays!

To be able to teach, one has to be a student first.

Despite saying I have expertise in many areas, I have ZERO expertise in cooking!

Would you love to learn how to cook or bake?

Not really, but thanks for the offer!

Alright, you're most welcome.

Speaking of Leolinker... Does it only link to LeoGlossary pages?

There on the dark side, the most degen end of crypto, there are interesting incentives for subscribing some influencers. In addition to get to read the paid content, you get access to private Discord, NFTs, etc.

I meant Youtube Summarizer!!! Sorry!!

feedbacked that already, just noticed the same happening in here …

https://inleo.io/threads/view/moretea/re-taskmaster4450-343ncuikp?referral=moretea

Okay, that will be cool.

Wow is the show still on! Look forward to listen to the replay! 👏🦁

We should support each other!

The people with some skills like tutorials would gain many subs for sure

I have feeling the old hive didnt attract people that have the right business mentality to be large success with subscriptions.

Have a nice day, everyone!

Quick update. Left the house and grabbed coffee! It will probably keep me going for a week 😁 #coffee #photographers

That brand of coffee is very good, I hope you enjoy it.

thanks. yeah one of the most popular and mainstream here in Europe!

Excellent, you have to send one to test it hahaha.

That‘s not coffee! That‘s a highly processed coffee product, but not coffee! This was invented for soldiers in the field and to make more money out of real coffee! 🤮

Well this is the quicker and easier way to hit that caffeine needs

and the unhealthier way!

The simplest way to have good coffee is to put it in your cup, pour hot water on it and let it set before drinking or a french press. One step further would be buying beans and grind them freshly on demand! Yes, i’m doing it every day … ☕️👍🏽

with the amount of coffee I drink I would spend more in coffee than in rent if I go that route

My coffee just finish and now I am drinking the last one and stressing out that I should have went out to buy some more before I have prepared this last one! #firstworldproblems

So I think it's good to learn good habits, and you know, learn the good things to eat to make you actually feel better. Da Brat

LOL my employer defined a minimum threshold of AI usage of the company's plataform. If you are under it, you are not elegible for raises or promotions.

Now some people are using the AI agent to help them code a bot to automate interactions so they can be above the threshold.

Not sure if management will be mad or proud LOL

#threadstorm

1/ #web3 is changing everything. This means that #ai is all that matters. We are looking at a shift that is going to see rapid change.

2/ Entrepreneurs and developers who realize this are going to get a head start. It is a race. Digital platforms will not be based upon the website.

3/ #web3 is going to be the Internet of Agents. Basically, AI will take over and compute will interact. This is no different than the original internet that connected PCs.

4/ This time, however, it will be AI agents (entities) that is the new form of compute. Tens of billions of these entities will be connected. All of this is going to cause a Cambrian Explosion of sorts.

5/ Here is where a shift in focus is required. It is also why AI is all that matters.

I was just reminiscing my rrip to Chefchaouen Morocco 🇲🇦.

We were traveling through Spain and running low on cash... So we decided to head to Morocco to yravel cheaper. What an awesome place.

Sounds like a cool diversion! And not far away if you're in the south of Spain. I still haven't made it to Morocco yet but well worth a visit I suspect...

yeah it definitely is worth going!

After 2019's "Joker" nabbed $1 billion box office dollars and a Best Actor Oscar for Joaquin Phoenix, a sequel was certain.

What form that sequel would take, however, was less certain.

In the risk averse entertainment landscape that is 2024 Hollywood, one would have expected a continuation of Joker's reign as Gotham City's most unhinged agent of chaos.

Well, no one will accuse director Todd Phillips and stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga of being risk averse.

For better and for worse, "Joker: Folie à Deux" mixes romance and show tunes with law and order in what may be the bleakest jukebox musical ever made.

Question is: Is the risk worth the reward?

1/🧵my greatest joy is seeing my life create impact in the lives of others making me special to them.... It doesn't mean I want to be, but it's want the sees in me that makes me special to them

2/🧵
there are other things that can make you special to others, like your shape, the way you smile, it attracts others, the way you relate with others too.

I think charisma is something you are born with, although you can build it gradually throughout your life. Very interesting.

Remember to include in the article tags related to the topic. It is very important to categorize the post.

Thank you so very much.

Feliz viernes comunidad de Inleo, casi se fue otra semana más de este mes y por eso se tiene que aprovechar cada oportunidad y momento que nos presente este día.

In fact, these are Bitcoin's favorite squeeze environments, as long as we don't lose this level for good because below is not very good.

#ETH

There is only one buyer group that has managed to turn the dips into opportunities at the best time in the last year, and that is coinbase buyers.
I expect a short squeeze here soon.

Geopolitical sales are often good buying opportunities.

Managing risks and evaluating opportunities without panicking is what we need to do on days like this.

The Lions Den will be going live at 1 pm eastern time. It is on spaces and there will be a threadcast.
