Spices and Herbs

  • A variety of spices such as cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and fresh herbs like basil and cilantro can enhance the flavor of plant-based dishes.

That is a more organized response 🤪 It’s easier to explain it that way.

Produce

  • Fruits: Apples, bananas, berries (like strawberries and blueberries), oranges, and avocados.
  • Vegetables: Leafy greens (such as spinach and kale), carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, and zucchini.

Whole Grains

  • Grains: Brown rice, quinoa, oats, barley, and whole-grain pasta. These provide essential nutrients and fiber.

Legumes

  • Beans: Black beans, chickpeas, lentils, and kidney beans are excellent sources of protein and fiber.
  • Peas: Including green peas and split peas.

That's a whole bunch of nutritious food, I really like it served here. Although, We used Beans and Peas a lot here in everyday meals and grains for different baked items.

Nuts and Seeds

  • Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, cashews, and pecans.
  • Seeds: Chia seeds, flaxseeds, hemp seeds, and sunflower seeds. These are rich in healthy fats and protein.

Dairy and Egg Alternatives

  • Non-Dairy Milk: Almond milk, soy milk, and oat milk.
  • Plant-Based Yogurt and Cheese: Options made from nuts or soy.
  • Egg Alternatives: Products like JUST Egg made from mung beans.

Condiments and Sauces

  • Nut Butters: Almond butter and peanut butter.
  • Sauces: Tomato sauce, soy sauce, and various vinegars (like apple cider vinegar).

Haven't seen not daily alternative here, some stores offer soy milk though. Seeds are used as superfood here and taken alone in most cases. Mung beans that's totally new to me.

There was a time I wouldn't eat any of this shit lol. Now I'm open to healthier options. Some vegan far is surprisingly delicious. I'm not full vegan because I still eat some meat but my body reacts very well to plant based options.

Having more veg stuff is better for body, but protein from meat is also essential, I keep a balanced diet like half week veg and half week meat based.

Yeah. I haven’t given up on meat. We are naturally carnivorous. Can’t fight it completely lol
