Regular gym attendance becomes like eating; if you skip it, you will feel restless and off, really needing the action and the release of endorphins. When you eat well consistently, you feel it straight away if you stray and indulge in too many treats: you will feel it in your body, in your brain clarity, in your emotional well-being, and it is so much simpler to return on track since healthy is your new default.
I learnt that in whatever you're doing, don't take more than 2days off. Anything more than that and it gets hard to pick it up again.
