Countries like Cuba has always been a wonder to me. I mean, as local you mentioned that the average earns $21 but according to data out there, the average Cuban earns $148.738. There are countries where it's data seems to be skewed but it's always intriguing to see it. Perhaps there's just a disparity between income. Even sites like numbeo mentioned that a single person in Havana needs 711.41$ to survive with rent. So to imagine surviving on $40/month with children is definitely though.

Hi, this data that you see is not update. Things has change around here. The average is like I said: $20 usd per month, basic.
You could earn $40 if you have a patner that also work, of course.
This is the basic, a lot of people earn more ($50 per month) and a lot of people earn less.
This is working with the goverment.
If you are a freelancer, or have your own bussines, of course that you will earn a lot more.
Thank you for your comment 😀
Let me know if you have any other question.
Also, let me explain a little more.
4000 cup = $160 usd if the goverment sells you the usd (1 usd = 25 cup)
But the main problem is that they don’t have usd for sell, so, a black market in the street sell the usd in 190 cup = $1 usd.
