My employer pays for my phone and our home internet. But my daughter's phone bills including her 4G mobile internet with 100 Mb/s is around $18 a month.
@taskmaster4450 mentioned price wars. They're very much a thing here. Every few months I get a call from an internet provider who wants to make me an offer. They ask me about my existing subscription and try and offer something cheaper. At shopping malls ISP and phone companies have people standing around and approaching people trying to sell them subscription plans. If you manage to avoid eye contact, they won't talk to you.
As if! Staring at the opposite direction and veering off as far as one can and they’ll still try and talk to me!
Some potential customers must look nicer to talk to than others. :)
Last time they gave out Tupla-bars so I didn’t mind for once, and I was already their customer so I just ran off with free candy 😁
