From the start, my advice to newcomers has always been to engage with other peoples' content, insightfully; until you have a couple of hundred followers.
Just putting energy into your posts but never commenting on other people's stuff, is like performing stand-up comedy in your own lounge-room. It can be incredible, but nobody's going to know.
I'm the opposite. I struggle to routinely create content of my own, but I sure do love to chime in and share my views/reactions/experiences. Cheers!
It seems like it shouldn't be too hard to understand how to be part of a community, yet many struggle. Am I just too old?
