Travala (AVA) and Monero (XMR) join forces.

A couple of days ago a made a post asking a hypothetical for most users question:Which crypto would they buy if they had $50K to spend.

I was surprised to see that in most of the users comments Travala or AVA was one of their top choices. As a matter of fact there are some hard core AVA fans among us such as @empoderat and @trumpman2

The truth is that I never ade a serious research about it. All I knew is that it had something to do with the travel industry but no more info other than that. I guess one of the reasons I hadn't done so is because the last few months I "squeezed" my portfolio and decided to hold tokens with real life use cases.

Well I was wrong because AVA is probably the definition of the real life use case token.

Founded in 2017, Travala.com has grown from a small start-up to the world’s leading blockchain-based travel booking platform trusted by thousands of customers worldwide as their preferred online travel agency.

At Travala.com, we connect travelers with one of the world’s largest selection of incredible places to stay, including everything from hotels, apartments, villas and hostels to 5-star luxury resorts. The Travala.com platform currently offers 2,200,000+ properties covering 90,124 destinations in 230 countries and territories, and with prices up to 40% cheaper than mainstream travel booking platforms.

If that's not real life use case then I don't know what is. Who would have thought a few years ago that you can pay with crypto for your vacation? Ya, that's how far we gone.

One second thought another reason why I didn't take the time to do a better research regarding Travala is because the travel / tourism industry has taken a massive hit ever since this Corona fiasco popped up. I live in Greece which is probably one of the "hottest" destinations for people to spend not only their summer but also their winter vacations too and trust me when I say that hotel owners are hanging by a thread.

And the not so distant future doesn't seem so bright...

BUT....

This Corona shit can't stay here forever, right. And when that happens the first thing people will do is to take a trip...So what better way to pay for that trip other than holding some AVA and / or some XMR tokens?

Ya you read that right. XMR and AVA join forces.

I just stumbled upon this tweet earlier today

20210203 21_37_101 Travala.com 🏨 ✈️ 🏡 on Twitter_ _You can now book 3M Travel Products World.png

and I think this is massive news. Not only because one of the biggest projects in the crypto industry (XMR) made a new partnership with AVA but because this is also a message from Monero team that just because people can enjoy the benefits of absolute privacy when they are using their coin it doesn't mean that they don't care about mass adoption.

So know you know...the project which has been accused and been fought by governments like anything else sends a message. And it's loud and clear.

No matter how hard you fight us, we will keep getting stronger...together.

To do list:

A) Buy more XMR cuz it ain't going down and it's one of my favorites...check.
B) Start buying AVA the moment I finish those lines...

Have a good one people.

Cheers.

Do you hold any?

We all should hold some.

Not sure why everyone is so into AVA. All the people into AVA on LEO Finance are new to crypto. What they don't know is that you shouldn't buy anything Binance has control over. I don't even like small cap coins that get listed on Binance. To get the listing on Binance is costs 2% of the supply in coins. Once the coin is traded on Binance for 6 months, Binance gets up to 3-4% control of the token supply, and then the project dies. If you believe in the AVA story, buy BNB or BTC, as Binance will hold all their value in those tokens instead of AVA.

True, yet Binance is a giant. Most likely they control the majority of the tokens out there except of course BTC/ETH and some other big players. That being said shouldn't people touch anything? (sarcasm here...)

Just imagine LEO there...I am sure you'd love that.

Whether they control tons of Hive or not remains to be seen...we are not entirely dead yet...

Hands up who doesn't jump on this train? I love AVA, and I can't wait to make that trip with Travala's smart benefits and Travel Credit discounts. Obviously, this pandemic does not benefit this token, but seen in perspective, it is the best time to invest in it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That! I mean people don't get it do they? Once the pandemic is over which could be in a year or two from now i see no reason why it won't climb to $10+

Now it's time to jump on it.

oh, yes!

I understand the reason for AVA, Imagine flying any class and having the potential to pay with crypto. I'm a fan too, it's a pity I didn't pay much attention because it's doing pretty well now. Irrespective, I'll stand on my choices like I commented on your post yesterday.

So many coins...not enough money to buy them all..

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I'm scratching my head everyday thinking exactly the same haha

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This is really a good information, just as you said "SO MANY COINS BUT LESS MONEY TO BUY THEM" that's it for me. Would have loved to have some

Rookie crypto-investor here. Let me check if I got this right: so there is a scenario where it would be possible for people to earn Hive/Leo by being an active community member, trade it for AVA and use it to travel?

That sounds great!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hehe that's right ;)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This sounds promissing. I hope it works.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You too @mindtrap

So many altcoins, but limited money.
I have followed the Ava coin since @trumpman2 brought it up, and although I wanted to invest, I was invested in Steem, Hive, Ethereum and Bitcoin. I was tapped out.

But after watching it go up more then Steem and Hive, and reading @empoderat and now you...

I think it’s time to trade some of my holdings for some Ava.

Wish me luck.

Fingers crossed buddy!

The corona hoax will stay until the sheeple wake up and that could take years.

So the travel and tourism industries are screwed for some time

They are screwed indeed...yet I don't really think it will take years. At some point people will wake up and they'll grab axes and spears to hunt down fuckin politicians...

Travala also integrated with binance pay today.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I know, which is great news

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

AVA coin has much potential and I think that it will bring crypto adoption in the travel industry. It would be fun trailing by paying through crypto. Hope this collaboration does something great for the crypto community.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Haha that hype on AVA is out of control on Leofinance !
Can't you just stop shilling for a while, I need to complete my 5k bag :D
Sadly I'm nowhere on XMR... really need to fix that.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's sweet actually(: .... travella accepting crypto payments for yer vacation!!

Such an interesting perspective for the travel industry.

Wouldn't regulatory issues in certain countries make this partnership a risky move?

For example, why would a US tourism operator want to do business on Travala when they will face scrutiny from the government? They're just regular already struggling businesses who don't need an extra layer of risk.

Isn't this going to be an issue?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Wouldn't regulatory issues in certain countries make this partnership a risky move?

They can always pay with AVA, right? XMR is an extra option...unless AVA is banned there too

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

But I just mean the tourism industry is highly regulated. So any tourism operator working under strict government regulations could choose not to do business with Travala in case this messed with their regulatory requirements.

XMR could become a bit of a poison chalice for mainstream businesses and I'm interested to see some further opinion on whether this is actually a good thing or for Travala who definitely fall into this category.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

But I just mean the tourism industry is highly regulated.

Is it? Or is it just in US? I am pretty sure that they know what XMR stands for, yet they hose them as partners. If they thought that it would hurt their business they wouldn't have taken the deal, right?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The XMR narrative is definitely something to watch here.

I'm just a little nervous ;)
