Right now it seems were stagnating more than we are growing.
You also need to consider this seed to never give you fruits a plenty. Many people will say that Steem/Hive was one of the worst coins to invest in crypto.
I'm still here, I still think there is hope, but it's hard to stay positive when you bet on the slowest horse in the race, constantly.
I'm right there with you. I have never left and never given up, but I'm also pretty much subconsciously pessimistic about it and wondering if I've made a huge mistake.
It sucks to think I'd be better off investing-wise if I'd kept all of the Steem I had and just sold all of the Hive I was airdropped for BTC or something.
I do think there is a buzz starting to form around it, though, and if there was ever a good time for people to start paying attention, it would be now. I'm pretty excited to see what happens in the next handful of months, and I have a good feeling. I will not be surprised at all if it just sinks lower, though. Hive has been a heartbreaker thus far.
I think I've been "subconsciously pessimistic" (I like this term) since the bubble burst of 2018. Ever since it has been a struggle for me to get back on the horse.
The HIVE horse you bet on is barely even running in the races that are now on (races 1 & 2).
There are 3 phases of the blockchain revolution:
HIVE is the front runner in race 3 which even the vast majority of punters on races 1 & 2 don't even know is on the program!
It might seem to be a slow horse in earlier races, but it simply is competing in a different race with a longer time horizon.
You don't need to convince me, I'm here for almost 5 years, I embraced the longer time horizon. From time to time I can get cranky, hence the posts like this. The words you said need to be said outside our own community.
