I noticed that sometimes they take a little while to show up. If they don't appear on the main feed, you can check them out on the "parent's" toggle in your timeline.
Haha, we want things to be smooth but the new updates keep messing things up. But they are a small price to pay in order to have a good UI in the sooniverse.
