so surfing the net securely is becoming increasingly important here in Nigeria. i would like to know some of the measures you guys take in ensuring that your data is safe. I could learn a thing or two.

Use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is always a good idea. I am not sure what is available in your area. I use NORDVPN.
I also have my browser set up so that every time I close it all settings and cookies are erased. It is a bit of an inconvenience but adds to security.
You might check out posts by TheMarkyMark. He has done a number of posts on security.
