wordpress was viable for the era it was launched. Now i don't think a platform like wordpress will do vey well because the shift has happened and people are gravitating towards short from content.

of course. But my point is, it wouldn’t have succeeded if everyone was trying to turn their friends into bloggers instead of readers. That’s why hive has failed at expanding. threads is a new shot because short form is for everyone
yeah i agree. most people here are not bloggers, they just want to earn doing something. there is a greater opportunity moving them towards things they care about or can do for money while those who genuinely care about content creator can thrive.
