The need to use the leoglossary also have made me read terms I didn't know in my own language, let alone in English. In fact now I know it in English and not in Spanish xD
I never did an English course, so there is other routes to learn another language. Mine was reading, watching, listening, even when I didn't understand it. At the beginning I did translate but halfway the journey I just consumed content
The brain will fill the meanings you don't know based on the context. Sometimes I even write words I have no idea from where did I learned, it just feels right
