In the past I have used Coinbase, as a platform, but I stopped using it, because I absolutely do not like any system that holds the private keys to my cryptocurrencies, no matter how safe or reasonable it may seem. And the fact that Coinbase can monitor the transactions we make does not seem very desirable to me, however, it is what it is.
But after all, as you have stated in this post, I think you are right that Coinbase will be an important pillar in the crypto fight, despite the despites. Regards!
