RE: The Joys of Hive

in LeoFinance2 years ago

However, another very experienced (and staked) user called me out saying that not every post need be full of text. Fair enough.

This is right, especially when those short texts are meaningful enough. There could be one with a long text with no direction to fully grasp what he or she is saying, to me, I call this shitposting.

People are willing to go different means just to milk rewards once money is involved, they don't care about putting in extra efforts or doing something to support the community, they want to earn and take everything out.

Hive is not perfect and I believe we can do everything to support in the best way through our truest engagement and participation here than thinking of getting everything out.

The people who take everything out, can't reward anyone.

Absolutely true 👍

As per the comment part, I think Hive is centered on "give me, I give you back". This means when you do your best to engage on other's posts, they come over to yours. At least this is something I do, and before you know it, those complaining of no comment on their posts would start having loads of it. Another reason may be because such an author do not reply back those who comments which makes people not feel like commenting since they assume the author won't reply them back. So, I want to suggest that people should try their best engaging on others and they will retaliate.

Yes - a lot of words can still be shit.

A community requires a balance and give and take, yet many of the takers just expect people to give it to them. Screw that.

That's impossible and can't be done. You don't expect to keep taking without giving. It's total nonsense!
