I have similar plans, I been hoarding all my DEC so currently have a little over 1 million. I have the hopes that DEC stays at $0.00700+ during presale. I also have about 2500 of the unmentionable token from the chain Hive Split from and about $2000 fiat that I'm thinking about investing.
How I chop it up and what I use to get to that $10K presale depends on (1) what is the airdrop rate for Cl boosters. I don't want to lose out on one million airdrop points if I spend all my DEC. (2) Price of CL boosters during presale (bonuses ect.). If no airdrop points for CL boosters my $10K investment is going to drop to $5K or under.
I like you have the sneaky feeling that the top "bonus" teir for presale is going to be for those with 100,000 SPS staked. I'm not going to come anywhere near that but I should have 30,000+ staked depending on when presale starts. With all the hiccups I suspect the presale to be pushed back until the last week of Sept.
I would also like to see the presale last 6-8 weeks instead of the planned 30 days. Once these packs become openable all our current SPS airdrop rate are going to take a massive hit. So enjoy the SPS you are currently getting as that amount is likely going to shrink drastically for those who don't invest a decent amount in CL.
Yes, I'll be looking at things carefully too - NB I'm expecting a 'percent pool limit' not hard tiers - In the comments theres suggestions of a voucher system, makes sense.
I'm going to spend some DEC but as you say there's a lot resting on it in terms of SPS, so I'm holding most of it.
A $5-$10K Vest should be sufficient to maintain our drop at a similar level, at least you'd hope so!
And when are they going to be openeable? That could be months away!
It's a golden opportunity i think for a $10K in - worth finding the assets for defo, good use for that Steem shit coin too!
That's a good point. I took for granted that the following month when the regular sale happens they will be openable but that might not be the case. Watched the AMA, there's going to be vouchers that will be tradable.

Dec could be also fall massive if packs need 2000 dec. If that's the case it is again a "stablecoin" and a lot of people sell out.
