I agree about the mental health aspect... sometimes I need to get thoughts out and blogging about them basically means I can flesh out the thought and then put a lid on it at the end.
Sounds like a good way to do things to me :)
I think where mental health suffers is when people feel the need to post in order to keep their autovotes, and then it becomes a chore and a burden.
For sure, one shouldn't force a post out for autovotes. Speaking of autovotes mine seem to have dimished greatly ever since the hiccup of the blockchain removing our banners and displaying our old ones. My old one showcased a logo from a previous linked chain. I wonder how long the old banner was showing before I noticed. I also wonder if the hiccup reverted auto-votes for some accounts. Today when browsing hive as a guest I noticed my Post Headers and preview for contents of each post didn't match. I was shown previews for posts I created weeks ago with current post headers. The go to explanation and answer is nodes acting up. You notice anything out of order with your blog?
I did notice that!
I didn't notice it on my own posts... but I was confused about some of the preview text I saw on other posts that did not at all match the actual content of the posts.
I'm sorry you've seen a reduction in your autovotes, that's frustrating. I imagine it kind of ebbs and flows as people get distracted by other things or cash out or whatever. I expect a lot of whales will try to cash out in 2025.
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm not concerned about votes being manually removed by voters. I was more in the mindset of getting feedback from others to see if they noticed the same hiccups and how deep it goes. Likely just nodes acting up. I agree with your assessment.
