I basically agree that Hive is never going to be a global settlement network, useful for tipping and peer to peer transfers among people you trust, but not more than that.
I've sent BTC on lightening via Hive but I'm not even sure what it is, something to explore further!

Yeah, lightning has grown under the radar but it's kind of a big deal, because it allows instant payments with native bitcoin for really low fees, yet without giving up the custody of funds, if you so choose.
I am liking the sound of this! I'm also in the mood for stacking more BTC anyways, so happy dayz!
BTC stacking is the way to go for me at least.
