It's not interesting again because it's usefulness have been exhausted. That's my view
The dating scene in the west is dying. So I am not sure you should follow anything the west is doing with relationships.
Western culture changes everything in the world.
It's influences are strong without anyone's control.
Dating is fading away and it's tendencies even here.
