Nice analysis but I would add some of the positive elements of Hive, not only the negatives.
This is a "still under construction" project.
It is quite new, as the technology and besides that.
It has suffered and overcome a pretty hard and intense crisis.
It offers a nice way to engage and learn about many aspects of Blockchain and DAOs for those enrolling without any knowledge.
It keeps improving, this is key to improving or killing most of the negative aspects you mentioned in your post.
It offers a nice "living" complement to some users living in struggling countries.
My conclusion after this years is this is quite different from anything we know on Web2 and Web3. There is no social media offering such benefits in Web3 and we can hardly find anything similar in Web3, only Polygon Lenster protocol has started to try to offer something similar to Web2 Twitter but still far away from Hive.
We just need the global crypto market to start its bull cycle, get consistent new users joining, and keep improving the whole ecosystem. To me, Hive is a complete success as it is probably the only no-defi project with a nice user base.
It is different and there are heaps of benefits. Lots of positive and I am far more positive on Hive than most :) The reason this post didn't include many of those was for a specific reason.
