here. 🕵️‍♂️Does anyone know what happened to Intelektualac (https://intelektualac.com)? 🤔 The website has been inaccessible for at least 2 weeks. Their account @intelectualak has no announcement since 3 months ago, and apparently, nobody replies to them during the same period. That website got the attention of the Hive Witness @themarkymark, whose comment is

For those who do not know it, it is a web app that is not a Hive dapp (since it does not post anything on the Hive blockchain); it only accepts and pays out HIVE. You deposit HIVE there, then wager them (at least 1 HIVE) per game where you answer IQ questions, and you get 10% to 14% of your wager depending on the game mode. If you give a wrong answer, you lose all of your wager. It does not look like a gambling site since there is much skill involved to win. 🤓

I posted about that here, but got no replies (excluding bots). 🙁

Perhaps @jfang003 has some idea about it. 😁

Sort:

I never heard of it.

So I cant be of any help.

Sounds like they pulled out and left the project but who knows.

It reminda me of how the Question & Answer Hive dapp named Quello.io suddenly stopped without any announcement. 🤔

There were a lot of apps that happened to.

People either run out of money, interest, or get frustrated.

It is hard to predict which applications will be around in the future.

Quello was the second version of that idea I believe. I cant remember the name of it since there are so many apps that came and went.

I don't know. Maybe the project just died and I don't know how many people were willing to use the platform. Also if it was unprofitable, then they will just close it off.

If it would be closed, it would have been proper for the owner to at least make an announcement about it. 🤔😐

Yea they should of made an announcement but I have seen way too many projects just stop giving updates and stopped out of nowhere. Its courtesy to do so but its not required. Also I don't know who was behind the account.

One Hive project that just suddenly stopped was Quello.io. 🤔 Even @chrisrice is not sure who the owner is/was. 😐

That is one of the issues. We don't know good ways to contact people in regards to issues sometimes.

If ever they put their email address (or at least their personal Hive username), they might get spam, and that would entail additional work filtering unwanted messages. 🤔😐

I think they just didn't want to pay out.

This is the first time I hear about it, to be honest, so I can't really help?

Do you know how long it was up for? Maybe it turned out to be unsustainable and they cut it off, but it's just a guess. I have no idea

It was probably up for 2 months. 🤔 It would have been good if the owner just made an announcement about the end of the project. 😐

Most just exit and tell the community nothing.

It is often with a promise of coming back but it ends up leaving.

This is typical, not the first time and it will not be the last.
