I don't know why #BlockTrades still charges 4.1 HIVE just to have a new Hive account created by them for you.
According to Hive.io's signup page (whose screenshot is above), BlockTrades charges $1 for account creation, but 4.1 HIVE is still far from $1 (even with the price dip happening with HIVE and most other crypto right now). 🤯

Paying 5.1 HIVE gives you a Hive account with 1 HIVE in it, so that translates to 4.1 HIVE for a Hive account without any included HIVE. 🕵️♂️😅
That looks like a the prices aren't really updating correctly in the price feeds. Are you trying to see what the cheapest way to make an account?

Yes. 🙂 Currently, #Ecency offers the cheapest account creation service (which is free), but I don't want to use up their Account Creation Tokens for other users. 😁

#Ecency is also cool. 😁 I see no problem using #Ecency and #LeoFinance at the same time, like what I am doing now! 😅
If it requires a phone number to signup, then I don't think it is practically "free". 😔 If it requires a Twitter account to join, I don't think it is easy. 😟 #Ecency requires just an email address, where everyone uses several of them for personal, work/school, gaming, junk, etc. 🤔

At least, we can create a new Hive account using #Ecency by providing just an email address and then do whatever we want with it (such as posting and curating on #LeoFinance). 😅
That's one of the ways they make money .

I know the seller can make their own price, but at least whoever manages the Hive.io signup page should change the account creation fee to 4.1 HIVE (instead of $1) to avoid surprising any user wanting to create a new Hive account through #BlockTrades. 🤔🙂
