In the US we imagine tribes in Africa as something quite old fashioned but nowadays it seems to be more like "ethnicity", the people live among each other and have certain cultural practices, but all interact in daily life with each other. The US had us fooled that we were the only melting pot, actually Africa and Indonesia and India are amazing melting pots! I tried to learn some Hausa from music, if I visit, I will learn some Igbo and Yoruba too
