Question? I know many think the Satoshi made Bitcoin for the people. But did he? Or did he make it simply as an alternative, which could replace a system and it's for everyone, even the rich or corporations some may not like?

When an artist creates something and puts it into the public eye:
Their opinion and intent become largely irrelevant.
It's quite obvious that Bitcoin is a protocol for everyone.
It doesn't discriminate.
@edicted
I like the way you said that.
The analogy removes all debate for the rational minded.
I think all the Maxis will agree that Bitcoin is a work of art!
I will use this in the future.
There's actually a lot of famous philosophy surrounding concepts like this.
Like Socrates or whatever.
A professional artist is a master of creating art.
But a professional curator is a master of interpreting art.
The curator can often interpret the art better than the artist that created it.
The also applies to the tech world.
How many times does an invention get used in a way that the inventor would have never thought of in a million years?
Good point.
I think there are endless examples, but the internet is the most recent.
I know that the inventors of the internet had no idea that one day we would make video calls, and stream movies with their technology.
In fact I remember AOL having the AOL Market where you could buy stuff using PayPal. Steve Case was criticized by people who said shopping was not what the Internet was made for, and additionally they said people would only shop in stores.
That didn't age well.
