RE: You Don't have to be Special to be Successful on Hive

in LeoFinance2 years ago

The biggest hurdle when I first joined HIVE was to navigate and find people to follow.

We started off with pretty much blank, little directions and guidance. There are some posts for noobs but they are way too long.

Initial blogging was also quite challenging, a bit aimless. What’s uniquely myself? That is a good question. Should I post my daily routine to start off? No, I still prefer some privacy.

Sometimes simplicity works better, and we should encourage short form content in addition to the traditional long form blogs.

Yeah, it is still an issue but has become easier. It is hard to find people to consistently follow I think. I feel like I need to trust them enough :D

Ever notice how those "success on Hive" people never last on Hive?

I think that writing actually helps discover this in us and connect with ourselves more deeply, which leads to building ourselves into something different than we thought we were or, what we started as. It is a process - just like life :)

I agree - but it should be short and original, not just copy paste from some other site or rehashed thoughts of others with a couple small edits.
