I agree that interblockchain operability is the way to go. On the other hand I think as well that with more and more blockchains emerging, it's dividing the funds people are willing to spend on web3. So are the developers which have to be divided over all the blockchains.
On the other hand, we're still rather early adopters so I believe way more people (and thus funds) will roll in in the (near) future!

I think that the division of liquidity and divided developers are exactly the problems that interoperability will solve. Dapps already built on a certain network will simply work with other networks without having to rewrite the code.

I also think that as web3 becomes a more seamless user experience, more and more normies (and their funds) will come use these tools.

Yes, maybe you're right that interoperability will indeed solve the issue of developers. If everything is connected, than you don't hae to create similar dapps over and over.
