The more you own, the more you can rent.
This is also what I do for my needed rentals - my ownership offsets it and covers the cost.
But I'm not sure how cool farmhouses are on Finnland, might be a lot of work due to your strong winters.
Very cool - they are everywhere and in demand - though not many want to work on the farm :)
