Do you think they mentioned the record cold in South America or the 30 degree (F) below average temperature throughout the middle of the US?
Nah, just how hot it is in Canada.

Yea, things are getting pretty serious here.... some people are dying on the streets because of the cold

Is that clause literally or figuratively? 🤔😮
Sadly, it's quite literal.
At least 10 homeless people died in the last two days here in my city because of the cold. And that's only the ones I heard about.

Doesn't the government or charity organizations at least do something to prevent those people from succumbing to the cold? 😯
You'd think the government would do that, but the government excels at being incompetent and then people die.

How about those working in charities? 🤔😯
I wonder why that's a non-story here? First time I've heard of it. Record cold?

Yea, it's pretty cold in here for our standards. A cold wave coming from Antarctica caused the temperature to drop

Doesn't fit into the global warming agenda. They highlight the record heat temperatures but ignore the record cold.
The middle of the United States is also tens of degrees below normal.

It's interesting what gets emphasized and what doesn't.

People do not seem to realize that 10x the number of people die from the cold as compared to heat.
If reportedly accurately, over 700 people died in Texas from that freeze that happened earlier in the year.

Well that is definitely hot and I am complaining about 85 degrees....
