If a DA wont prosecute for something, doesnt that make it de facto legal?

It seems the DA in Manhattan will not prosecute for prostitution.

Yea it is pretty much legal. No punishment for them and allow it to happen in the open. I wonder how the city would look after it.

Well I think it is a better approach than California where they wont prosecute shop lifting under $900 or whatever.

At least prostitution, as long as it isnt done on the street, doesnt really affect anyone other than those directly involved.

Hookers and Pot should be legalized - so it can be taxed...just say'in

The later is starting to be legalized in many parts of the country.

The former not so much as far as I can tell.

Pot will most likely be legalized nationwide within 1 to 3 years. Beyond Nevada, prostitution - nah, I don't see it (but it does make sense from a public health and taxable standpoint).

I have no problem with legalized prostitution.

And yes I agree with you on pot. It is rather stupid to have it illegal anymore especially since alcohold was legal.

Lol that is very true. But you can probably see the same thing in every large democratic city right now.

Arent all large cities Democratic?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea for the most part there is but I don't want to say 100% for sure since there may be one or two odd ones out.

An outlier doesnt make a trend. LOL
