No. We saw this same nonsense with the EU 27 years ago. People looked at the size of the economies added up and said it rivaled the US, so it would be another superpower.
What happened? The EU flatlined while the US economy is now $27 trillion. It is not about trade but that is what people thought. The EURO is nothing more than a regional currency.
There is one international currency, it is the dollar.

Dont buy into the nonsense about the dollar dying. Actually it only keeps getting stronger (which isnt good for it).
That said, it isnt perfect and there is something else required. The problem is there is nothing else.
