That's why Hive doesn't take off. You're supposed to be able to say whatever you want, but then there's more censorship than on Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of the social networks combined. And all for a few measly cents.
I don't think any of my greetings have ever received more than $0.05, that's not even worth the time to copy and paste.
I'll probably end up leaving Hive like everyone else.
Don't take it personally, I was just trying to help and offer a view. All you need is a few other Threads, which could be replies to others and/or post pics or whatever and it just looks a bit better and more involved. You can of course do what you like.
Although you don't just say good morning to your kids and not speak to them again until the next day when you say the same thing and nothing more (I hope), and I'm guessing on the other Socials you post other things than that one good morning message.
Again, you're entitled to do what you want but it can get really boring seeing the same thing repeatedly. It's not about the 5 cents, it's more the user experience (for me anyway). And that opens a pop up to create a thread, like when you click to reply it open a window to reply!
And maybe on mobile, add a + icon on the bottom bar. So 5 icons instead of 4 with the + in the centre?

A long time. It will be years until that happens. The client-server configuration has been in place for decades. Plus not all data is going to be on blockchain unless we have a lot of privacy layers.
But for now, we can keep adding data to these open databases (blockchain) to help the AI training availability being open to those outside of Big Tech.

Today AT&T announced its 2nd quarter 2024 earnings and with that it reported that its new 5G Home Internet service added 139,000 new customers. This move to 5G Home Internet comes as AT&T has been launching it in areas where it wants to end DSL service but has yet to fully roll out fiber in those areas.
AT&T reportedly plans to shutdown about 50% of its current DSL markets over the next few years. Already some customers have been informed that they need to switch to Fiber or they will lose internet service.

It seems that there is a lot of paranoia in Hive.
Thanks for the response! You didn't reply the last couple of times I commented so wasn't sure.
You copy and paste the same sentence and you offer no further contribution, that was my only point. You can post what you like, it doesn't bother me! It's just that there are people out there who may look at it and not see the value in it.
No paranoia on my part, just slightly annoying when many put in a lot of effort to mix it up (often unrewarded), and others don't yet may still get rewards.
Again, it's up to you what you do (and what others vote on), just offering my perspective…
I didn't respond because I try not to get into controversy.
It's just a comment, not a post, and it's just a greeting. I wake my kids up every day with a good morning and I've never thought it was copy and paste.
That's why Hive doesn't take off. You're supposed to be able to say whatever you want, but then there's more censorship than on Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of the social networks combined. And all for a few measly cents.
I don't think any of my greetings have ever received more than $0.05, that's not even worth the time to copy and paste.
I'll probably end up leaving Hive like everyone else.
Don't take it personally, I was just trying to help and offer a view. All you need is a few other Threads, which could be replies to others and/or post pics or whatever and it just looks a bit better and more involved. You can of course do what you like.
Although you don't just say good morning to your kids and not speak to them again until the next day when you say the same thing and nothing more (I hope), and I'm guessing on the other Socials you post other things than that one good morning message.
Again, you're entitled to do what you want but it can get really boring seeing the same thing repeatedly. It's not about the 5 cents, it's more the user experience (for me anyway). But you're right, some can take it too far. I'm not that person, but I do have a perspective and things I'd like to see to improve Hive/Leo.
You carry on doing you, and if you enjoy it keep right on! I promise not to bring it up again :)
