Where the fluff has the time run away to! It is June already, and being the first, it means it is Power Up Day.
Woohoo, well I did manage to power up earlier today, before I went out and had some things to do.
Time has a habit of running away from me at the moment, so now I am here with ☕️ and 💻 getting into ✍️ mode.
Today I have answered some questions from first time Power Up Day participants, quite why people ask me things I have no idea 🤣 Not that I mind, I believe it is the responsibility of us ALL to share things here on Hive about how things work.
I know when I started it was all so confusing and I had no clue, not that I have much better of a clue now, I just pretend!
What is Power Up Day
HivePUD ~ Hive Power Up Day is an event on the first day of each and every month.
Basically people power up some Hive into HP Hive Power.
People also might cancel their power downs.
People might also pause their trading/selling.
Some people will be eligible to have the chance to win prizes IF they follow the criteria please see Hive Power Up Day for June 1st, 2022 from @traciyork

My Power Up
So I had a quiet month in May gain/rewards wise on Hive. What rewards I did get I mostly used to explore the LEO/HBD systems. I got me some pHBD and am farming that, all baby steps right!
So I managed to Power Up 11 Hive ~ pretty feeble but as I did power up 1 Hive daily in May, that will do for me!
My HP now is 1116, and that is all coming along nicely, I did hit 1000 in May, so that is good as far as I am concerned considering it was 0 on 1st Jan 2022🤣

In the May PUD I was lucky enough to win a 500 HP delegation from @zekepickleman

During May I was also able to power up one HP every day so that was awesome too.
We never stop finding new things every single day on this awesome platform!

Rewards went down overall in May in my opinion, and will not be as high until the price of Hive goes up. However, everyone expects it to go down further before it bounces back, so be patient.
I was saved this month by the curations in OCD and Posh. With the latter, although I am not as consistent as Cj, whenever I share tweets from others at least a couple of them sneak into the votes and each one is like 2 Hives. And the curation on OCD is not a high amount but it can be constant and that doesn't require much effort because I always read several posts a day anyway.
So let's hope for a better month in June for us, Super Ed :)

With the Twitter thing, I don't think it's your account but maybe the how and where you do it.
Do you use the mobile app to make the tweets or do you do it in the browser? I do it in the browser. If you do it in the app may be the version has problems. I don't know I'm speculating.
And I don't think it has anything to do with it but I saw for example that in your tweet about Northern Ireland you put the link of the post-Peakd and then the tags. I always put the link at the end.
There must be a way for it to work for you so there's no harm in trying a different way. I'm not bossy, just saying. 😉

Congratulations sir. Getting into the farm is a great move, and even though you power up a small amount, it's an improvement seeing that you had 0 HP in January 1. This means you are on the right track. Keep going.. congratulations once again.

Making progress is always nice and it will add up over time. HPUD is great for the blockchain and it's always better to have more people participate.

It is an addiction I agree, but I don't really do it until the evening after dinner, and today I am having problems with peaked and Leo Front ends, and even ecency is having hissy fits!

This is interesting, Teng! You are growing and before you know it, you have become a big whale. it takes a step though. I think I only entered this challenge once last year and I stopped. Do you know what? I did power up 200 hive last week I think when I got some spare cash and if I had known, I should have made an entry for this. Well, it isn´t too late. I might try doing that in July. I came in here through Dreemport.

Yeah you should try do the minimum of 10 Hive on the 1st of each month. Last month I won that 500HP delegation which was awesome and all I powered up was 10 Hive.

oh you should write one Sam, I actually want to try and get more dreemers to do it. Princess Busayo powered up 200 last week and I was oh you should have done today and had a chance of a prize. I mean only did 10 last month and won a 500HP delegation, so it is well everyone doing and writing a post.

yeah I used to write them... I ran out of time once or twice and then just haven't done it... I won a delegation one month too. It was nice. I completely got my dates mixed up last month so I forgot to power up altogether on the 1st... I was on a nice streak too 🙈 Definitely a great idea for people to power up though and write a post. !PIZZA
hehe well I have been getting my days and dates all mixed up recently, so don't worry about it 🤣🤣🤣

I just want to say that you are doing well😀😀😀. I've been seeing some posts on this hive power up. I think it's a great way to have people stay more committed instead of selling off. Great initiative
aww thank you zyzy :) You should really try to do it, if you win a prize then it is even more awesome. Yes if you see off too much, then you won't grow, the more you grow the more curation rewards you get. I see they announce a Leo power up day as well now:)
