It looks like bitcoin.org was hacked for a few minutes. Apparently the hackers put up the old "double your money" scam and unfortunately someone sent them 0.4 BTC.

Yea it's unfortunately people dived right into that without thinking. Are they doing anything to prevent this from happening again?

They said they are investigating and they also contacted the company that host their servers but not a lot of details were shared
