I think this is the mentality we should all have. Between all of us help new users who show commitment to Hive and Leofinance.
Creo que esta es la mentalidad que deberíamos tener todos. Entre todos ayudar a los nuevos usuarios que demuestran el compromiso en Hive y Leofinance.

Yea I am always willing to answer their questions. The problem is I don't know who is new and who isn't. We need a good place for people to go to such as a FAQ

This is true. Although I think from the user's reputation we could realize this as well.
Esto es verdad. Aunque creo que por la reputación del usuario nos podríamos dar cuenta también de esto.

Like @taskmaster4450le said, reputation doesn't tell you much. You can only monitor and see if they are truly new.

It would be necessary to do more follow-up work, I think. See which of these new ones upload quality content and support them.
Habría que hacer un trabajo mayor de seguimiento creo yo. Ver quienes de esos nuevos suben contenido de calidad y apoyarlos.

It is very true what Taskmaster4450 said. Reputation is not an indicator of a person's experience on the platform.

The reputation tells little. It is based upon votes. Yes if someone has a 70 or above, then there is a good chance they are here a while and have something to give.
Those below, who knows. And the reputation is based upon Hive upvotes, not the tribes. This means you have to have a good standing overall even if you are very good with some whales on a tribe.

I understand perfectly. Okay we would have to embark on a search for new users, perhaps by the introduceyourself hashtag for example, and follow them to see which ones are the most engaged and upload the best quality content.
Entiendo perfectamente. Vale tendríamos que embarcarnos en una búsqueda de usuarios nuevos, quizás por el hashtag de introduceyourself por ejemplo, y hacerles seguimiento a ver cuales son los mas comprometidos y que suben contenido de mejor calidad.

That is the best way. It is time consuming, but there are tools to aid in the process.
Here is an example of one I found made by @geekgirl. It uses HIVESQL.

As I have mentioned before, I am not totally against the aid of automation in curating content. It is useful if used properly.

And who is actually legitimate versus those looking to just scalp things?
Hard to tell.

Yea its hard to tell especially since most things are anonymous. I think I saw that dbuzz ran into that issue and the guy giving votes to the little guys over there just stopped. It does tell you a lot based on who still posts over there if they are after rewards or not.

Yeah that is why I think we will see a lot more success with ProjectBlank. There is little to compare the two in my opinion.

I think DBuzz might do better with a 2nd layer token. They could just do normal curation and use part of the rewards to put a minimum price on the token. At least it would have value and those HODLers can increase their voice.

It would. However, they still have the problem of limited posting time.
That cannot compete with Blank in my opinion.

I am spotting more and more new accounts lately, that most likely are created to milk the introduction post support.
When I see users post the first time in LeoFinance, with perfect tags and everything set like the user know exactly what and how, I know it's not their first account.

I don't look at the introduction area much and I myself never made an introduction post. Didn't know about it and don't care about it right now. I learned through trial and error, but I generally see the same old tags being put on the ones visible to me.
