I stop playing League because of that same issue.
That stuff is super low level and can access everything on your system.
Exactly, its outrageous how casual they are about asking you to install it, and enraging that they REQUIRE it to play the game anymore...!
I could not agree more. This is why I don’t support AAA games anymore.
I found a way around it at least, but I'll definitely be more wary in the future about buying any big name games. Usually I just play indie type games with my friends

Yeah the "anti cheat" stuff is wild anymore. Like I just legit want to play a dang game lol

Why would they ask to install a spyware for playing a game, it looks they have something hidden
They call it anti-cheat but it's a recipe for disaster, not to mention a huge hit to performance etc
