I see a lot of people spending the last of their hard earned money just to impress other people. I used to be one of those persons.
But we can't just blame them. In my case, that is what I use to see when growing up. I even heard stories of people spending their food money just to look good.
When given the chance, I try to share my thoughts about wealth on to other people. The only problem I mostly encounter is resistance - their previous "mind conditioning" is too strong to even consider what I am sharing them.
And their is term, wealth, which is being confused with being rich. For me, being rich doesn't mean you are wealthy and vice versa.
I totally agree with the fact you said that's what you saw while growing up. At least as an adult now, you didn't need anyone to help you understand that such lifestyle isn't the best. Same goes to every other adults, there are some retraining we do to ourselves as adults to ensure our future isn't put at risk by our actions. About taking blame, c'mon you don't expect someone else to take the blame when as an adult you haven't figured out what's good for you. I think you need to use your story to convince more people who haven't realized this fact yet.
Is nice meeting you here.
