It most certainly will get to the point where it surpasses human skill. Generative #ai is only going to get better as more models are trained and roll out.
then what would be of human labour? Because this is just like saying that a time would come when there would be no more newspaper because of the outbreak of online newspapers.

Labor is at risk. What happens when AI and robots make labor near zero?
This is what will be the reality for most at some point. It is advancing far too quickly.
I believe that technology would totally not take over labor, rather huaman our the ones that is generating the Ideas into the system.

It will change. I dont think there is much knowledge work that will be done buy humans. If we get anywhere close to AGI, nobody will hire a human to do something.
Robotics is going to be fun to watch. Physical labor might be at jeopardy but could be slower. Give that #technology 10 years to see where it stands.
