Today, I have reached over 5000 Hive Power which was the next milestone for me on HIVE. I have been a member of HIVE for more than seven years. Considering this period, I should have had much more HP; however, I have reached my goals step by step in recent years. I think that setting HP goal for myself is important in terms of motivation and consistency. For sure, I have not done this period, which is almost seven years old membership, to the fullest. I had dropped by HIVE from time to time and shared some posts until the middle of 2021, but I have never left HIVE.

Bugün, HIVE’da benim için bir başka dönüm noktası olan 5000 HIVE Oy Gücüne ulaştım. Yedi yılı aşkın süredir HIVE’a üyeyim. Bu süreyi göz önüne aldığımızda, daha fazla HP’ye sahip olmam gerekirdi; ama HIVE’ı uzun vadeli bir yatırım olarak düşündüğüm için elimden geldiğince HIVE biriktirmeye ve oy gücümü arttırmaya devam edeceğim. Kendime HP hedefi koymamın motivasyon ve devamlılık açısından önemli olduğunu düşünüyorum. I had about 590 Hive Power in August of 2021. From August 2021 on, my activity on HIVE has increased gradually by posting, upvoting and commenting on posts thanks to @ecency DApp. I have been going on like that for more than three years. The number of posts I shared, received upvote and comment; and the number of posts I read, upvoted and commented on HIVE increased significantly in 2022. I can also say that 2023 was the same with 2022. As for 2024, I have decided to continue my journey on HIVE on my own regardless of any community. 2024 was the year which I have shared the most posts, read the most posts, upvoted the most posts, received the most upvotes, commented on the most posts, and received the most comments on HIVE. Besides, I participated in TR HIVE Power Up Day event in November and December of 2023; April, May and July of 2024. I increased my HIVE Power by 331,656 HIVE in total.
2021’in Ağustos ayında yaklaşık 590 Hive Oy Gücüm vardı. 2021 Ağustos ayından itibaren HIVE’daki aktifliğim @ecency uygulaması sayesinde yazı paylaşarak, yazılarıa oy vererek, yorum yaparak giderek arttı. 2022 yılında da HIVE’daki aktifliğimi arttırarak devam ettirdim. 2022 yılında, HIVE’da paylaştığım, oy aldığım, yorum aldığım; okuduğum, oy verdiğim ve yorum yaptığım yazıların sayısında oldukça artış oldu diyebilirim. 2023 yılı da 2022 yılı ile aynı oldu diyebilirim. 2024 yılına gelince, 2024 yılının ortasında herhangi bir topluluğa bağlı kalmadan HIVE’daki yolculuğuma tek başıma devam etmek kararı aldım. 2024 yılı HIVE'de en çok yazı paylaştığım, en çok yazı okuduğum, en çok paylaşıma oy verdiğim, en çok oy aldığım, paylaşımlara en çok yorum yaptığım ve en çok yorum aldığım yıl oldu. Ayrıca, 2023’ün Kasım ve Aralık aylarında; 2024’ün Nisan, Mayıs ve Temmuz aylarında TR HIVE Oy Gücü Arttırma günlerine de katıldım. Toplamda oy gücümü 331.656 HIVE arttırdım.
I continued like this until 2025. I had stated that my activity on HIVE would decrease after 2025. Thus, it happened so. I spend this period mostly reading and upvoting posts on HIVE. With the drop in the price of HIVE, I have converted 314,555 HBD from my savings account to 1251,987 HIVE so far. I powered up 486,725 HIVE of this amount on the HIVE Power Up Day in March 2025, and with the rest I will power up after publishing this post. I reached another goal of mine on HIVE, 5000 HIVE Power, in five months this time. If I had not done the HBD-HIVE conversions I mentioned above, this period would have been even longer. It seems that we have moved from bull season to bear season in cryptocurrency markets. Let's see what awaits us in HIVE in the coming days.
2025 yılına kadar bu şekilde devam ettim. 2025 yılıyla birlikte HIVE’daki aktifliğimin azalacağını belirtmiştim. Nitekim öyle de oldu. Bu dönemi daha çok HIVE’da yazı okuyarak ve oylayarak geçiriyorum. HIVE’nin fiyatındaki düşüşle birlikte, şu ana kadar birikim hesabımdan 314.555 HBD’yi 1251,987 HIVE’a çevirdim. Bu tutarın 486.725 HIVE’sini Mart 2025’deki Oy Gücü Arttırma Gününde kullandım, kalanı ile de bu yazıdan sonra oy gücümü arttıracağım. I see HIVE as a long-term investment. For this reason, I regularly power up the HIVE I receive from author and curation rewards. As for HBD, I reached goal of accumulating 1000 HBD in March 2024. As you know the annual interest rate for holding HBD in a savings account was reduced from 20% to 15%. This was not a good news for those who focused on saving HBD like me. Yet, it still sounds very reasonable to me for now to receive 15% annual interest payout for an instrument whose value is almost equal to 1 USD. However, I can say that it is now time to regularly convert some of my HBD income to HIVE. I gradually converted the remaining amount over 1000 HBD to HIVE. I will continue to convert the HBD I earn from author income into HIVE and save the interest payouts. I will continue accumulating HBD interest payouts. This is my plan for now. Just as it requires effort to achieve something in life, it also requires effort to grow your account on HIVE. If it wasn't for the Ecency dApp, perhaps I wouldn't be this much active on HIVE and wouldn’t be able to achieve my goals as well.

I have never drawn neither HIVE nor HBD from my wallet and used them for any other purpose. There might be people who need this income from HIVE. I am in favor of powering up HIVE rewards up to a specific goal for a stronger account and the community. I would say this goal should be at least 10000 HP, considering the current HIVE price. What is written in this post about HIVE and HBD is not a financial advice.

My next goal is to reach 7500 Hive Power. Since I have started to convert the HBD I receive from author rewards to HIVE, I did set my goal this time as 2500 HIVE instead of 1000. May everyone achieve their goals on HIVE, thank you for reading.

I remember what it was like to see those 0s stacking up in stake and how grateful I still am for the community support. What I did at that point is search out others with a similar stake and building mentality and added them to my support list. Being a part of the next wave of builders supporting each
other is what makes this community special and us smaller fish more powerful in our schools.
