I had to be away from Hive for a while so I delegated, but I totally agree with you, delegation makes a few people become way too powerful.
Zuun is a small account so I don’t feel bad delegating to them, but ocdb and ecency are quite big, so I might withdraw my delegation soon for the exact reason you mentioned
It's true what you say.
We have developed some strategies to increase rewards for everyone, for example we share curation rewards but also author rewards..
This means that every post or comment we make, when they receive vows that reward we share with everyone.
But finally the purpose is to help new people who are not visible on Hive and give them a vote when it is deserved.
