Interesting post I personally really like when someone writes about the topic of Hive rewards, because it is one of the main driving factors behind hive blockchain that's why I think we should discuss and explore it as much as possible to improve it
There is one thing not highlighted in above article that is there are many hive users and content curators who are not giving upvotes because they read compleet post in other words they didn't consumed content they just gives upvotes to receive Curation rewards, that's why there are so many Curation trails users follow them and not even check which type of content they are upvoting automatically, another example is when someone delegated there HP hive power to another account for receiving Curation rewards he didn't care about which post or type of content is receiving upvotes
That's why I think manual Curation is the very important
I hope you understand my point, I am sorry because I am not a native English speaker that's why sometimes I really struggled to explain something
In simple words hive Curation or upvotes system is very complicated its not all about uniqueness and quality of content there are so many other factors or elements
Because so many times I spend hours to create a post which I think is a, unique, orginal and killer post created by me, but I received only few cents in rewards, Or sometimes I write few words in few minutes but I received few dollars on it
A single upvote from a curator who have more hive Power or upvote value can give you triple digits in rewards on the other hand three hundred upvotes from users who have very less hive Power and upvote value not gives you 1 dollars in rewards on hive
It is very important, but it is not something that can be enforced, which means that the content has to be good enough in order to be able to attract manual voters, which requires building those relationships. If it descends into just voting for curation alone, that doesn't work. Similarly, if people creating content are only doing it for the votes, the content is unlikely to be the kind of content that actually attracts voters.
Most people do not understand many of these factors, even when they think they do. It is complex and it is far more than understanding the blockchain code, it requires some understanding of human behavior, and not just a sliver of them.
This is the luck of the draw in many regards, but if you build up a following, the consistency in reward tends to increase too. The number of voters is completely meaningless in regards to value though, because it is all based on stake. The number of voters also doesn't represent whether a post is popular, since most of the small voters are automated and not necessarily by individuals - there are people with hundreds and thousands of accounts in trails.
Sr. I really impressed with your point of view, only an experienced hive content creator can answer these questions like this
It's really help me to understand it better with a different perspective
Thanks For your continues support and encouragement ❤️
