I like that name for it, 'Holdfast'. Lots of amazing things can be created near, or even in cities too, of course, but in such locations maintaining self-sufficiency is often more challenging because many cities have laws preventing people from doing things like collecting rainwater, living off the grid, growing and raising their own food, having more than a certain number of non-relatives living in the same house or on the same property, and the like. Any such laws, which are obviously not in alignment with common/natural/constitutional law, are meaningless and not valid, but sadly very few people actually know that. π π π β¨ π€

I would need to find out... however one thing that also happens in South Africa is often there are laws but nobody to enforce all the weird ones...

Sometimes... other times it gets difficult because you understand that they are better at keeping the mid-class lawful than they can keep the low-class in a lawful state.
