Higher price of Hive gets you now less additional HP then before.
Let me show you this on following example.
Content reward of 1.104 HBD was as always devided between author, who gets 50 % and curator (or more of them), who also get 50 %.
Calculation:
1.104 HBD = 0.552 HBD for author and 0.552 for curator(s). Author gets half of the reward in HBD (0.276 HBD) and half in HP (0.109 HP), while curator(s) get all in HP (0.218 HP).
Because of higher price of Hive they both got less HP now.
__
It's kind of unusual that higher price of Hive gets you less reward in form of Hive/HP. The higher the price less Hive/HP you get and less fresh Hive is being "produced". Right strategy for those with Hive/HP right now would be probably to get more HBD and convert it back to Hive, if and when the price goes down again.
NOTE
This is jut my personal view and opinion on the subject and is not to be taken as advice on what you should do or not do regarding content creation, curation and Hive/HBD investment. I sure will continue doing all three.
Thanks for sharing your view!
getting HBD to wait to be ready for the bears with a plan to be ready for the next bull is ok if that happens.
also you can pick the 100% to hive power when you post your blog.
Yeah, but know you get less hive power.
