To deprive people of their human rights is to call into question their own humanity
Have you noticed your belly button? Mine has some small details, a thin faint scar from a laparoscopy, and a sinuous mole at the very entrance of its beautiful circle.
My navel is in the very center of my bodily universe and it conferred on me first of all two basic rights as a human being: the first was to be born, and the second, the right to live.
So, since we all have a common navel, I suppose we are equal in the universal rights of life... well, at least that's what I thought.
This is my topyc to participate in the weekend engagement proposals that our host Galenkp has prepared for us, choosing the topic:
What are you entitled to and why? Explain with examples.Use your own photographs.
The world of rights works differently for each territory, although there is a human rights commission that supposedly represents a space for complaints and complaints, most of the time it feels as if they act like this: Who the fuck cares about your rights?
You're going to turn around to look at me and tell me: but how little faith you have in international institutions!
Of course, my faith was baptized in a left world where I was supposedly guaranteed the rights to "free health" and "free education", while the other right worlds rotated in the opposite direction and many died of hunger and without the possibility of accessing my gratuities...at least that's what they told me, or made me believe...were they lies?
But what I definitely had no right to do was think, or question rules... because as long as I kept my mouth shut I would have both of my rights assured. But did I really have those rights?
A few years ago, it may be quite a few, I once won a scholarship to study in another country, but because the bosses didn't like me so much, they didn't let me go...certainly didn't have to pay me anything, my country didn't have to pay anything for me to study, however, they prevented me from doing so simply because they claimed that I was going to escape the country...so, in reality, I did not have and do not have the freedom to assert my rights as a human being who wanted to better himself.
Article 26 of the universal declaration of human rights was clearly violated.
But then, what rights am I entitled to?
I suppose I am an ordinary individual like anyone who lives in a blind spot on this planet, therefore I have the right to breathe, to speak, to feel, to love, and anything that is free of taxes and tariffs...but for everything Whatever costs money I have to work to be able to have the freedom to choose.
Right now I read people who live in countries with some similar laws and it seems like we live in the same chaos. I have the right to free healthcare, or at least that's what they tell me, yet I go to an emergency hospital and they don't have a damn medicine to relieve my pain... you just have to buy it before you go there.
What is my right then?
The right of a Cuban to have a medium-quality health service is invested in a luxury hotel in the middle of the city of Havana.
For a person who lives in a country with a different social order this may seem a little crazy, and although certainly no country is perfect, I live in one of the most deplorable that exists right now...maybe you think I'm unfair, but I have proof of it.
The mentality of people who want to make changes in a country should begin by expanding their knowledge about the respect and real value that building a true democracy takes.
But in summary I need to have rights: the right to express myself on any point of discrimination or social injustice, the right to request protection over my person, the right to be well treated civilly, the right to be employed to work, the right to a decent salary that allows me to cover my needs, minimum needs, the right not to live outdoors, the right not to be discriminated against for being a woman, the right to be respected and respect the rights of others, the right to be myself free of actions.
But if a country does not respect a person's first basic rights, there will be very few rights left to defend.
People ignore that many societies are organized based on the lies of a group that make you believe that rules and order are in place to maximize the well-being, peace, prosperity, health, security and natural rights of their people. population, with only objective: to stay in power....but your rights are continually violated, and you really
fall into the limbo of not even recognizing what your rights are.
Always very grateful for your reading.

Very interesting.
Thank you for thinking it is interesting.

Very true! I know what you are talking about and it often happens that those who don't live or have lived through similar situations will not understand, because those rights you are talking about are taken for granted. In many countries they don't exist, to be able to think and express oneself is forbidden, so how can we claim for other rights if we don't have a voice. I understand you perfectly well and I know what that life is like, I know....
Every country has its own apartheid system...the madness is such that right now I am afraid of the readings that my own countrymen will give me, to put yourself under the scrutiny of someone who is watching you and who does not want you to speak in this way..... really affects us that much.
We need first and foremost to free the mind.
A Big Hug.
Well with me you can write freely, I understand perfectly well your experience and what happens there, what happens is that there are people on both sides... you understand me...
Hugs!
I appreciate it, and I know that there are people with an opposite thought to mine, but both he and I have the right to think in different ways, and that's what they don't understand.
I hope everything is improving fast around the house and that your Sunday is really good.
There will always be different thoughts but that's just it... let them think freely!!!
It's a nice day here!!! I'm going out for a while!
I really want to go out and take some pictures, but I'm still at home resting....
I'm sure you will bring us some very nice pictures... enjoy the ride my friend.

It's been a long time since our rights cared to someone, that, if someone really cared anytime, I don't think so. It looks like we've been "living" with an eternal debt since born to be paid with thankfulness, silence, sacrifice and resistance to whatever that pumps to their minds we've been given and have to be thankful for.
Fair? ...fucken no, but that's the way it is and'll continue to be as long as our misery remains a business to them and a valuable tool to keeping us under their strict control.
How many rights have been violated here? How many have we been denied?...Really lost count, actually got tired of counting.
Freedom they picture doesn't exist, we know nothing about freedom, at least lived on our own .
Some scissors cutted our tongues, some swords cutted our legs, some ropes attached our hands and one gun is in our heads, just in case we still want to move.
I loved you post.
Have a nice sunday.
You couldn't have summed it up better...
Maybe the people of Hive are tired of reading our complaints, but we have no other place to occasionally vent...and release our thoughts, although sometimes I am also afraid that there are people watching what you say...that's how far my fear goes.
Thanks for reading me...have a great Sunday.
Well, we are not really complaining, just showing and sharing our reality, sad and crude, but that's the real fact, nin any case we are not saying it all as it should be said anyway.
Así es.

Thanks a lot!!!!
Our future does not really look promising. I am thinking a lot about your words... and all I see is that this country continues to ‘kick the bucket’, taking with it the patience and even the dignity of its people. It's beyond me that all the time they want to blame it on external factors, pressures and blockages, but here there has always been a lot of mental blockage and competitiveness. And also a lot of miserable people who live comfortably at the expense of the misfortune of others. It has always been like that. They did the same to me as they did to you on the subject of travel and self-improvement. But how absurd that in order to be able to travel one has to depend on someone's permission. This is a prison surrounded by water. De los salarios no vamos a hablar...
People from abroad criticize us because "we do nothing" to improve our situation...at least those who are not Cubans are unaware of the level of control under which we live...but those who lived know how it works and now it is easy for them to tell you to the one left behind: fight. It makes me laugh after all.
In short, as you say, this is a mental and physical prison... for everyone. We will continue to lengthen as time does inside a black hole.
Thanks @nanixxx, we have a lot in common.
