A question of size. (WEEK 249)

A great one in history, as Aristotle said: Virtue lies in the middle ground between two vicious extremes. And I love this thinker, so I often take this phrase for my life.

The reality is that there are as many tastes in the world as there are people, and it is in the difference that the richness of the human being lies. As long as they are not all zombies or machines, entities that all go to the same side with a herd, there will be differences and that is the good thing.

For that reason, different people may like different sizes, even, specifically, different parts of our body, as mentioned in one of the themes proposed for this weekend.

Bigger, smaller is a matter of taste, but I believe that in this aspect as in many others in my life I choose the right middle ground, the balance. And as in many aspects of life, extremes, as Aristotle says, are vicious.

Would anyone like to have an arm that is too big or too small? It wouldn't be in proportion to the rest of the body, would it? Well, with all parts of the body it is exactly the same, there must be harmony and I love harmony.

A big size can bring a lot of problems and I'm talking about both men and women. And a small size can lower self-esteem and people feel less because of that. I think the golden mean is the right size for everything... everything, if you read well... everything.

Some people will say that it matters, the more daring ones and others who say nothing will say no, that it's not important at all. But... how does the person feel? The person in question? That's why the right middle ground is the right measure for me. The balance in that yardstick that measures everything.

On the other hand, it is also true that there are other important things, what good is great size without imagination, without creativity, without certain qualities and abilities that I think are very important, such as being a good person, having a sense of humour, respecting others, being polite, and so many others that are extremely important. A big size without qualities, spark, initiative, good manner, is like an empty shell, which would be assimilated to a robot.

Many will say, it doesn't matter, what is important is the inside of the person. But why not think about the right balance for everything. Not only for the size but also for the qualities. In everything in balance I think it's the right thing to do. A person who has a bit of everything... the right balance.

Many things count, qualities like mischievousness, sweetness, gallantry, being a gentleman, humour, location, honesty, truth and much more. Also those qualities of complicity between two people, I think, are important.

So, in my opinion, a little bit of everything complementing each other, plus the right medium of size is the perfect thing. Well... there's nothing perfect, but it's close.

I value the qualities of a good human being who is in tune with me more than the physical, but I insist, I really like that phrase of Aristotle, I think he knew what he was saying: The right middle, the balance.

This and many interesting and challenging weekend topics, @galenkp proposes to us. Thank you very much for that.

I send you all a big hello and wish you a very good weekend. See you soon.

Thank you so much @indiaunited and @steemflow 🤗

I agree with you, the middle ground, adding the qualities is all well and good. But while it is true, for tastes and colors we are made, the important thing is not to be discouraged if we lack a little size.

Greetings, have a nice weekend.🌸

No discouragement and value what we have!!! I agree! Have a great day!💗

The medium that balances everything is good to have....if we take an example of the fonts that we regularly use, we alwsys prefer a medium one, neither too bigger nor too small...and the choices suits all....

Exactly the medium temrino is the most suitable in everything, even in the subject proposed by Galen. Thank you!

You made me to look into the topic 🫣 talking in these matter is still tabboo in India...

I imagined it! No problem at all.

Witch imagination has no limit...😉

Absolutely right!!!🤣

Good morning, dear friend @avdesing

I also believe that the middle ground is the most appropriate for all types of choices. However, each person has their own choices, and that, I think, is where the interesting part lies.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Exactly, I totally agree, thank you very much for always being present!

There is so much myth surrounding the issue of size that it is difficult to escape its influence. Especially in adolescence, when we have an accelerated development of our sexual attributes.

Body and soul form a whole, and one influences the other. Our culture is increasingly focused on physical features, and there is a disproportionate trivialization of our physical appearance. Learning to know ourselves will help us to escape from these patterns.

A pleasure to read you.🌷

Being at ease with ourselves is important even if size matters in many cases. I loved your comment. Thank you!

Hi @avdesing, they say there are tastes for everything, even for sizes. That what is good for one may be bad or ugly for another.

In my opinion sizes don't exist, there are looks. The one who looks with love will always see the right size, whether he looks at others or himself.

Good night, I hope you are well.

You summed up excellently what I wanted to express, exactly!
Quite tired, but moving on, I still can't communicate with some people, although I know they are fine. good Sunday!

Good morning @avdesing, I figured this is the sense of your post, but I can always misinterpret a text, so I left the comment as you read it.

You know that I hope the best for you, and I only wish that the situation gets better and that you can rest. I am glad to know that the people you know and love are well (at least physically).

Big hugs to you.

There are still things to sort out, it's been a long and often chaotic week, I think I need some nature! Thank you!!!

Nature is always close by waiting for you. Enjoy it, I wish you a good Sunday.

Yes! I think I'll go for it!

Te visito más tarde. 👋🤗
