Yes, there are museums that are free to promote culture, but there are few of them and the rest of the weekends are free, you have no idea how many people go there. And I love to see the works of art!

The art gallery and museum in my city are free...all government ones are in Australia mostly. They have exhibitions that cost to get in now and then, but generally are accessible for free.

I've seen other places charge, The Louvre in Paris for instance, many others also.
