We human beings have different moods and these often motivate the music we listen to or maybe the other way around, but I am always motivated for a walk in nature.
Everything in life is related, everything is one thing, or at least that's what life has taught me, as it is in the mind, so it is in reality. And as it is in music it is often my footsteps on walks.
My favourite outdoor pastime is walking, I think many of you have already noticed. I have always loved to go for long and fast walks and hikes. Often the rhythm of them is set by the music I listen to, I like to be accompanied by the music of my choice.
Many hikes I do in the company of someone else, but walking alone in nature is a hobby that fascinates me. It can be hiking, climbing hills and exploring unknown and shady places or it can be a walk by the sea, getting my feet wet with every step, picking up rocks or just admiring the beauty of nature.
Some people have asked me if I am not afraid to go alone, well no, I am not afraid. I used to be, I was insecure, but not anymore. Maybe I have an angel watching over me and she makes me feel it.
To feel on my walks among the trees, the fresh air entering my lungs, as it passes through my nose, feeling each step of my breath and in the middle of the silence listening to my heart beating, unites me more to the energy of the whole, of nature.
Feeling the coolness of the foam of the water caressing my feet when I walk, and underneath the warm sand is a blessing for me. The same when I bend down to brush my hands against the white blanket that reaches the shore and hear the soothing sound of the sea and the sound of birds in the woods. In those moments I feel fulfilled.
They say that the kind of music we listen to affects our vibrations, our vibrations. I don't know if this is true or not, but what I can say for sure is how I feel when I listen to certain music on my walks. It either speeds up my steps or makes me relax, as if I abandon myself to it and its vibration guides me.
My walks fill me with energy and relax me. It seems contradictory, but it is not. The fresh air renews, clears my lungs and my brain regenerates, unlike what happens when you walk in the city. Trees or oxygen derived from the sea are purer and clean the air of impurities, so it helps our organism. Being in contact with nature is the best healing for body and mind. I will never tire of saying it, besides the growing connection I feel in natural places.
I like to listen to motivational music on my walks, I mix the good vibes of nature with music, but sometimes I intersperse it with the silence of the spaces, especially when I reach a viewpoint. Then I leave the music aside and listen to nature.
I have a long playlist on my phone, well actually I have many playlists, but depending on the day I listen to one or the other. Today I bring you three of the songs I listen to when I walk.
