I don't have a specific music genre, I like them all.
But if I had to choose, I would definitely choose Boleros, the music of the Mexican and Puerto Rican Musical Trio Los Panchos. This trio was formed in the 40's
I didn't even plan to be born haha. But it was the music I listened to since I was a child, because my father liked it. Listening to this music reminds me a lot of him, since he is not with me. He died 14 years ago.
Listening to this music is bringing back the most beautiful memories of my childhood with my father.

This is a good selección. Los Panchos represent an era. Even though I am younger for them, many of my elders were fond of them and we could not help but to absorb that connection with the romantic past. As chldren we listened to so many songs of the genre that it was inevitable to develop some afinity for boleros.
Now if I had to choose I choose something else, to avoid feeling sad :)
I am also young for this genre, as I said I listen to all kinds of music. It does bring me a little sadness, but also very good memorie

I hear this sort of music often. It seems that not just old anglos are represented in this part of the world :) Three guitars and harmonious singing is sort of a standby around here.
