Good thing there's no rule against commenting multiple times cuz this bloke right here already sees multiple comments headed your way.
Round 1—all natural worldly syrup that's grown, taken care of, tapped, drained, cooked and bottled by @thebigsweed and @farm-mom. 💖 Thanks, Jurg's!
Nature from Upstate New York, Galen, see you soon.
Great way to go to make me drool over the first thing I see in the comments here. Amazing nature...
Happens everywhere I go.
I could go me some pancakes right now...But had to make do with grilled cheese and a coffee.
Grilled cheese! I just had a Caprese sandwich less than an hour ago and they grilled the thing in a waffle maker, how cool is that?! First time I saw that one.
You know, cheese melted onto toast under the griller thing. Caprese sandwich sounds good. I'm all full up on 3x grilled cheeses though. Lol. Got me some workshop cleaning today, some tidying up and organising and then want to fit my TPMS to my Landcruiser and do a post about it for later in the week. Lazy Saturday. I know yours hasn't started yet but I hope you have a good weekend.
uhmmmm! that looks delicious 😋
It's so good you don't wanna over pour the syrup. Not one of those things you can spread heavily and layer the plate in syrup. Every drop is priceless.
I can imagine! It's a precious liquid 😊😅
Oh those pancakes look awful, I mean, awfully good. I think you need to design a label for the syrup bottle, although, that golden color looks pretty good naked, don't ya think @dandays.
Only one time did I accidentally pour a few more drops than was necessary. Still my biggest regret when enjoying this syrup, that one time I mighta let a few priceless drops get away. I still beat myself up about that one time, can you tell?
Label. I don't think I could come up with something as natural as the naked look.
Tapping this nectar must be so amazing to see, well the taste makes up for it, just a pity it is so expensive where I live.... You making everyone hungry now @dandays
Let's spill the sap shall we?
I had no idea why maple syrup was so expensive. It never made sense so I'd typically use agave as sweetener. After seeing the process Sweed goes through it's a lot clearer to me now.
What isn't clear, however, is the taste. I can't consume store syrup anymore Joan because it tastes nothing like he stuff in the photo. I don't know what that stuff is on the shelves.... 🤔
That sap is liquid gold, watching how Sweed and Wifey get to tap it off makes one appreciate how much work is entailed.
Sweet pleasures come at a cost when imported, so one bottle a year has to go a long way....
