Berkey Water Filter, because water is the most important survival item there is. Without water, you have about three days, without food you have weeks.
Fire starting kit. You need to be able to cook food, keep warm and keep animals away. ( You know everything in Australia is going to kill you!) This should also include a magnesium striker kit. See the picture below.
Crossbow and 550 cord so you can silently hunt and protect yourself - then I can undo the twine and search for something to use for a hook - or spear it. :))
That is just me. We have a household of 5... can we have three each? If not, you got my three and I didn't count the phone as we usually have one on us, but, I can toss that out too if needed. I don't need one to survive, but, it is nice to have.
Legit items for sure and I can tell you have clearly put some thought into it...That's the main thing really, having the foresight to put a little effort into thinking about being prepared. Once down the path one will tend to keep walking.
Legit knife/pouch/!
Crossbow and paracord...Nuff said!
You're a champ!

Yay! I just started reading some of these! They are funny on top! :)) Thank you and if I didn't need that cord, I would have brought ammo and a gun.
Good question! Honestly. Thanks for the engage tokens!
There's been some interesting responses for sure. I had a wedding last night (early Sunday morning here now) and I haven't had a chance to scan through the secondary and tertiary comments but I'll get there after breakfast.
I wasn't sure how this topic would go but seems many have an opinion which is great.
Thanks for joining in.
The pleasure was mine.
I also picked cross bow because I wouldn't run out of ammo.
Yes, and quiet which could be a factor in certain situations.
👍

tokens.Thank you so much @galenkp
That's some good stuff to choose. A crossbow is great! Silent and deadly plus you don't need much to keep it going well, just make sure the crank mechanism doesn't break and you have lots of use out of it. Making bolts is also probably in the cards at that point!
I'm glad that you put things into practice and got the knife and flint, that's important to get a nice fire going. Just gotta have a good flint and steel combo. I bought a cheap ass one and it might struggle to light a puddle of gasoline hahaha.
The water filter system is crucial. I think we will order one or two of those to have on hand, it's awesome that the technology for it has done a long way and made them so accessible!
Thank you. Although I have a go-bad with freeze dried food and tent etc... i chose the three things, but in one hour? I could pack for months
how are you dear friend @dswigle good day
Excellent choice, it is very true what you say, having something to filter the water is essential, keeping the body warm, and feeling safe is vital to enjoy a good camp.
I take this opportunity to wish you a happy start to the week
You too @jlufer! Thank you!
Fire starting kit sure looks neat, something I have not seen before Denise.
Crossbow a powerful tool for defense and hunting, great selection.
It was so cool to be able to find this!! Thank you!
