Lol, sometimes it's nice to block out the world and delve into some tunes. I did so last night actually, just me, headphones (not noise cancelling) and some smooth grooves.

I don't wear the noise cancelling at home. That is for noisy places. It is nice to block out the world from time to time. I feel bad responding back to you. Put this phone down now and carry on. This is a fun night.

I just have a night off. So cleaning up my #MarketFriday posts.

I am plugged into Enya right now, I need an angelic Celtic voice right now.

Le sigh.

I'm just sitting at a cafe eating a toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich. Left the range. Heading to the market to grab some stuff then home to make my special burgers for tonight.

Nothing wrong with a bit of Enya. Haunting voice.

I love Enya and especially the Orinoco Flow which is what I have on now. That sounds rather tasty and I daresay that I have the same, but, I put a little bit of heat with a seeded hot pepper. It melds so nicely with the cheese and the ham... Good luck tonight, it should be a lot of good times.

Stay upright.

I went to a cave complex a while back and the serious of tunnels and caves open up into a massive cavern which, unsurprisingly, has amazing acoustics.

The dude there turned all the lights off so it was totally black. I mean I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. Then he blasted Orinoco Flow on the audio system. Amazing is all I can say. Felt like I was floating in a void between space and time, like a rift had opened and I was nowhere and everywhere all at once, no senses but hearing...Like I was between split seconds where time was meaningless. It was unforgettable.

Me likey some spice but alas the cafe is but a small concern so I contented myself with what they had. Also, I'm not a big drinker, so will stay upright. Two beers, maybe three, and I'm done. I don't get drunk. Ever.

In Tennessee there's a place called the Caverns where they have regularly scheduled music.

This isn't the best rendition of this song, but pretty good. I lust for a '51 black lightning.

Ah yeah, that's the ticket. The acoustic nature of these places is amazing.

Oh, what an experience! I have been to the caverns here, and I could see where the acoustics would be otherworldly. The tour guide said that because of the shape and materiality of the caves, they were most likely used in prehistoric times as some sort of auditorium.

There is a pipe organ in the one that is close to here and it sounds like a cathedral on steroids. I can only imagine the sounds of her beautiful voice echoing through the caverns.

Field goal. Oh, drunk is a waste of time and brain cells. No thanks. I like being in control of myself.

Agreed. It's the in control of myself thing that drives my desire to drink moderately. I've been drunk three times in my life, I know not much, and I didn't like it. These days I can go for weeks and weeks without a drink then have a few like I will later tonight. I'm happy to have a drink with company but not on my own. I actually don't relate to very drunk people so well. Never have.
