When I was a teen, I had this extremely chaotic relationship with a girlfriend. When it was over, I often wondered what I could have done better, or just different, to stay with her. Although I've come to terms with it, this song describes that obsessive feeling of wanting to do it over and over until we get it right. It gets it all downright perfectly.

Great song and I can see how it meant something to you in the situation you found yourself in. It's emotive and quite powerful, much like Evanescence tracks which I like a lot. I think there's music for every occasion and even music we may not like can mean something when attached to a particular event or memory.
